Lead Bayern with 5 tackles today, didn’t watch the game but looks like another strong outing defensively from the kid

Saw most of it.  Solid, most of the attack for his team came down the other - right - side but did his job defensively and was available for the pass.

Watched most of it.  As mentioned, not much going forward but solid defensively again. Not really needed on the overlap the way this game played out to be honest.  Bayern fans seem to be really taking a shine to him, big roars of applause when he makes a tough tackle.

Davies gets another start vs. Fortuna

Watched the entire match. Thought he was ok today, good defensively but his final ball in the final third was a bit poor and had some miss passes. But overall a very good showing from the team collectively which can only be for Davies.

David with an assist on the first goal with run down left side and a square ball across the box with a nice dummy through the legs of Depoitre to Yaremchuk.

David had three glorious chances, with a fingertip save along the ground from the keeper after a through ball on a free kick.  With the other two chances, the ball delivery was just a fraction off.

Should have taken their earlier chances, extra time (controversial?) leveler leaves them with only a draw at home.

Milan Borjan starts against Radnicki Nis. Stefan Mitrovic is on the Radnicki bench. 2-0 win for Crvena, Mitrovic came on in the 88th for Radnicki

Surprised there hasn't been more comment on this.  Stefan Mitrovic is 17 and was tabbed as a player to watch in the Hamilton CanPL player trials (can't recall what their official name was now).  Really wish Forge or someone else in CanPL had taken a chance on him.

Enough young Canadians have received minutes in Eastern Europe and then vanished into obscurity, but here's hoping this is an excellent step for Stefan's development at such a young age.

Definitely one to watch. Top half team, better place to develop.

No, tying goal by Antwerp was legit.  Literally last minute of extra time and Antwerp launch a hail Mary ball into the box from their half.  Two defenders and a forward go for the ball and one of the defenders crashes into the leaping Gent keeper who spills the ball to a nearby Antwerp attacker who knocks it in.

David could have had 3 or 4 goals easily with any luck at all.

The way I saw it Kaminski never had it to spill, he missed it.  He did get submarined by the Antwerp player but whether he would have ever got to the ball, I don't know and whether it was the impact of defender was prevented him from getting any contact on it and thereby keeping it out of the path of the scorer - again maybe.  But the flight of ball from the pass never altered as it went past him, for me at least.

Either way, as I said, it was probably controversial and needed extended VAR because the attacker was backing in and I have seen them given before as fouls.
