Anyone know if they are removing the hydro pole for next season.

The plans that have been referenced before in this thread have not been cancelled AFAIK. We are still expecting the lines to be moved underground before next season.

I have a friend who works at BC Hydro who said this is actually at hot topic around the office. Sounds like it's moving and Hydro has no problem with it as long as they aren't paying. I can remember if it was in the 6 or 7 figures, but expensive nonetheless.

Underground? Then what they should do is leave the pole up. With nothing on it. Build the stands around it. That would be an iconic statement, people would come to games just to see the pole.

Issey appears to be done with PFC if his cryptic Instagram Post is any indication.

Don't think he warranted a contract renewal. Certainly not on the pitch anyway. Maybe a move into coaching in the offiing.

A likely no brainer for him given his history with the club. Might be the reason for the delay in announcing him at Pacific.

Hope its not true as I think he would be a great addition to the CPL on multiple levels.

Bustos to Pacific rumour ??

According to Larson, an offer has been made, but no word officially yet.

Bustos would be a great addition to the squad, and I'm optimistic we'll see Pacific competing at the top of the table if this ends up being true.

When we talk about top paid player, what are we thinking of? 75k?

Probably close..but Pacific had so many young kids that would have been on the lower end of the pay scale.  Maybe they had room to  pay Haber and Dejong more than 75.  But you would have to have most of the roster making 20-30g to have room for a few at 75-100g guys.   If the cap is in the 750-1mil range.  So many ifs and buts.....

I'd guess maybe even a bit higher. I have a feeling the average wage is quite low. But, honestly, I'd put Bustos in the tier below presumably top paid players with storied professional careers like De Jong and Haber.
