US looking absolutely dominant. Our defence better play better than they did tonight or the US attackers will blow a few past us. narduch

I doubt he was out at Universal Studios or Disney Land. My guess is that he already had trace amounts of Sars Cov 2 in his system but it came in under the testing threshold. Now the trace amounts are large enough to come in over the testing threshold. And now he has to sit out, sucks for him and Jamaica fans. He was very good in the first match. Could be wrong, but I don't think there are many bubbles still happening in the US. It's pretty much full open for business as usual. I highly doubt many confederations are locking the players down. Gian-Luca
So why are we playing on Sunday on two days rest, but then have an entire week off before the QF the following Sunday? There are no games scheduled for Monday. Presumably just $$$$ of course I guess they figure the US won’t support their own team on a Monday? johnyb
Gian-Luca
To add to the madness, I just noticed that Group B’s final group games are being held before Group A’s, which is something I have never seen before and gives the likes of Craig Burley and the other Eurosnobs ammunition to run down the tourney. Seems likely we will see a lot of roster rotation as the team already looked fatigued in this game. narduch and Addona

Gian-Luca
US pegged back to 4-1 after an idiotic bit of defending by Acosta leads to a PK. narduch
Corazon
Martinique just did us a big favour by pulling one back because it sure looked like USA was going to hit 6 goals and surpass our goal difference. Still plenty of time to do it but a little more breathing room. JohnnyFranchise, narduch and johnyb

To be honest I not that fussed if we we finish first or second, we will probably be considered slight underdogs in the QF regardless and we have to face Mexico at some point Now 5-1 as I type so just need two more Addona

dyslexic nam
So the US is winning 6-1 and beat Haiti 1-0 for a total of +6 GD and 7 goals for. We have two 4-1 wins for a +6 GD and 8 goals for. Does anyone know if goals scored is the next tie breaker after GD (if we drew the US)?
