June is going to be very exciting. Think we are going to get sone surprises.

With 2 tight wins the Panama fans forum must be going nuts.

Between losing to Bermuda at home and squeaking out wins against Barbados and Dominica I think it’s safe to say this Panamanian team is in decline.

The celebrations from Montserrat

Results like this just might make it worth the lopsided results in other games this round. I do still like the idea of having a cap for how much GD you can accumulate in a game.

But hopefully there aren't any upsets today!

So goal differential won’t matter anymore. We’re +15 and Suriname is +9. And we play Aruba next while Suriname plays Bermuda. This also gives us the luxury go into the Suriname match with a rested squad as the Aruba match won’t matter beyond getting the win.

If Bermuda brings it's best squad and beats Suriname then we're pretty much through barring an implausible swing in GD

Bermuda has a good chance. They have some talented pieces. Plus some young talented players.

And extending this point in that it'll be extra rest for the June 12 and 15 games (If we go through).. 4 games in 10 days is crazy. Does anyone know if Yellow card accumulation restarts after the first round? I'm assuming it does but if not that would also be scary.

I won’t be surprised if Suriname brings in more players. It’s basically winner take all. They have some really good options out there.

They do. I don’t believe Riedewald will give up his Dutch hopes yet but they have some pretty good options. Will be interesting if they can convince those options before June.

In the interview, Herdman says he thinks he'll have more time with the squad in June.

Let's keep an eye out for tomorrow's match to see how Aruba compare to Bermuda, but it does seem highly unlikely that Suriname will reach our goal difference.

Fine! In May hahah

I assume the same border restrictions will be in effect (or at least the same uncertainty until early May when we likely need to start finalizing venues) and that we will need to play in Florida again.  Sadly, I don't think we'll get a friendly match.

Not to get too far ahead but I doubt Haiti will get to play at home in June due to the incident with Belize.  We could see both legs at a neutral site.  I doubt Trudeau will let us play before the fall

Canada will not being playing in Haiti. If they are, the Canadian military better be there to protect our players!

The way herdman was talking, there won’t be. It’s sad. Why can’t we have a Europe friendly.  I read somewhere that fifa windows will be longer.

It would sure be nice to call Flores and Dias in a non cap scenario. Doubtful the CSA would cough up or be able to organize anything at this point though. Too many variables.

Yeah, I think we have won goal difference now. We have to make sure we don't slip up and draw against Aruba. Then obviously take care of business again against Suriname. We did the job this window, lets do the job in the next window too.

Yeah, goal differential helps a lot. I'll be defending Suriname a lot over the next few months (lol) but from their perspective, needing a win against us is gonna be tough.
