The Road to Qatar.

When you think about what the scoreline could be in our match vs. Cayman Islands, some of the other top seeds are coming very close to dropping points to the pot 4 team in their group.

Panama barely pulled off a victory (again), it took Curacao until first half stoppage time just to regain the lead, and Trinidad and Tobago is tied at the half. A little too close for comfort if you're a top seed, considering the pot 4 countries are ranked 25th-29th in the region.

@xabuep2Is there a reason Murillo's been on the bench this whole game?

Anyways, Dominca looked really organized today. Panama just took back the lead, but a very competitive game.

Apparently it was a tactical change from coach Christiansen to improve the offense, Murillo got the bench, but still the lack of aim affected us. If I know of another reason, I will inform you.

The original plan was to have Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David playing the Caribbean vaudeville circuit for a half spot while El Salvador got a pass to the final round. Geez.

The sad thing is this isn't new.  On top of recent losses to Bermuda and Dominican Republic, they've played Montserrat 4 times since 2018.  Two of those games they scored a winner deep in injury time, one of which was a mile offside.

It would have been a crime for them to be in the hex.

Of course, DR and Montserrat might win their groups!
