lazlo_80
Figured it was worth starting a thread about this. Haven't watched many other teams but for Forge, Tristan Borges has stood out to me as a really impressive player. Curious to hear takes from fans of other teams as to which players have stood out so I can keep an eye out for them. Reign
Really like Borges, could see him being the first player sold. Zator has been the best defender in the league imo so far. He’s a unit.
Ivan
I would agree with those nominated above. Borges and Zator have been really impressive. I have also been very impressed with Zoom Langwa. gator

Novak has taken the bull by the horns too. Ivanovski94
HfxCeltic
I've only really watched Wanderers matches in detail, so can only say with certainty that Schaale and Langwa have been excellent, and N'sa and Bona have been nice surprises. Thought Borges has been tricky for Forge, and Bustos and Musse have been solid for Valour. toontownman, Copes and gator
MM3/MM2/MM
Federico Pena played 11 minutes, thought he was very impressive in that small sample. Lofty

Ivanovski94
Nathan Ingham has been solid at the back, for a porous York9 backline. yothat2 and toontownman
Obinna
Carducci has to be amongst the best keepers after that performance. Ivanovski94, gator, Cheeta and 2 others
yothat2
Nathan Ingam always steady! Marcos Velado-Tsegaye is a player. If he develops this year. Can see him playing at a higher league toontownman
Ivan
Yeah, I' ll throw Ingham a vote as well. Also liked Kadin Chung from Pacific today.
yellowsweatygorilla
I know York hasn't looked great, but Murofushi has been consistently solid, tidy passing, and even managed well defensively today with a number of blocks and tackles. Estevez-tsai needs to be more consistent but he's shown glimmers of creativity and neat passing, including today's lead up to the adjei miss. Gattas, we still haven't seen enough of but he was massive today vs Pacific Ams1984
badname22
Borges has been a standout but Novak for forge has also been great and seemingly underappreciated Edited May 19, 2019 by badname22 toontownman

I also think Gasparotto deserves some props, he’s a beast at CB. toontownman and gator
KW519
I think Giuliano Frano and Elijah Adekugbe have both been quietly doing a great job for Forge and Cavalry. Tristan Borges is the most impressive for me though. Don't think he'll be in CPL for long Lofty and youllneverwalkalone
BCM
Carducci has played well, from what I have seen. Obinna
Ivan
After watching most of Cavalry /Eddies, I'll second the nomination of Connor James. And I'll add my Valour pick - Ali Musse. So that is one (surprisingly) impressive player from each team for me so far in this young season: Pacific - Chung Cavalry - Zator FCE - James Valour - Musse Forge - Borges York9 - Ingham HFX - Langwa gator and yothat2
Aird25
Jose Hernandez has been one of our most dangerous players going forward so far. He's got himself a goal and an assist so far, but he's really deserved more. He's always getting in behind the defense and playing dangerous balls into the area. You can see why Vancouver didn't want to lose him. youllneverwalkalone
Copes
From my team, Langwa and N'sa have been the unexpected standouts. Wanderers have a solid defense I think. Other teams players that I've noticed have been Thomas and Borges on Forge and Chung for Pacfic. Telfer has impressed as well but that doesn't surprise me.
