Really think he could have a big year. The Bonnie’s coach thinks highly of him. Edited May 18, 2019 by Ottawafan

youllneverwalkalone
So who is Trevor Martineau? Looks like he killed it at Mercer last season. Big CF from Montreal. Bison44
Bison44
Good find, I scour Top drawer looking for CDN in NCAA, and he was listed as from Texas, but you are right he is born in Montreal. 6'4, made some NCAA all rookie teams. #22 on \Top drawer list of NCAA freshmen, Ryan Rapaso and G Amanda were #6 and 9). He is on some preseason all america lists. His twitter is all ManU but their is raptors and RJ Barrett and Drake in there. Someone on twitter should send him a question about CMNT etc. It doesnt look like he has been in any USA camps etc. He keeps up scoring like this and he'll go pro as a sophmore in next years draft. https://mercerbears.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7033
Sigma78
Marko Gasparac was playing in the Lokomotiv Zagreb youth system before playing in the Croatian 3rd tier last season. He has signed on with the University of Akron. He was called up to a Canadian U15 camp a few years ago. johnyb

Bison44
Ryan Rapaso has picked up where he left off last year, he just won player of the week from Top drawer. He also won young player fo the year in L1ontario. Got a hat trick, has 7g 3A in 11 games this season for Syracuse as a sophmore. Nyall Higgins also made team of the week earlier in the season, he is a tall lanky defender. Much like Miles Robinson, Kamal Miller or Skyler Thomas who also went to Syracuse. . Triaintofiollu, Ferrin and Hili Goldhar are all scoring for the orangmen. I think if we cant get a CPL team in Ottawa, we should expand to syracuse, they have 5 CDN there already. baulderdash77 and lazlo_80

Repaso played for the U15’s and scored against Costa Rica. He also scored against Halifax Wanderers in the Canadian Championship this year. He must be on every team’s radar, especially Forge since he’s from Hamilton.
Bison44
Top Drawer has their Midseason rankings out, Rapaso is number 20. Keep this up and he can come out as a Soph for the MLS draft. Top freshmen, #35, Sam Salter CSUN, F, #48 Malcolm Johnston Maryland, Mid, #78 Josh Belluz, Villanova, MID, #81 Gianni Ferri, Mich State, F. Its too bad there isnt an easy list of CDN Uports kids to look up. I was trying to piece together who might be some to watch up here but its not easy. shamrock
gator
Considering the history of Canadians being drafted by MLS teams it will be interesting to see if many of these draft eligible players will maybe go to CPL to develop! Corazon
I could be wrong but I wouldn't expect anything besides Raposo to be playing with Vaughan/York 9 if in Canada. A Vaughan youth product where he earned his scholarship and with familiarity of coaches from the York 9 team.
Bison44
Rapaso made the all ACC team, 10th in NCAA with 13 goals. NCAA tournie coming up next. I dont think we are going to see him come back to L1O. More likely he goes in the MLS draft or jumps to CPL like Zajac last year. baulderdash77
MM3/MM2/MM
Rapaso scores 2 with an assist in a 3-2 Syracuse win in opening round of NCAA Championships, in same bracket as #1 Virginia so may have 2 more games maximum.
