Totally agree that ZBG and Bayiha are looking really good. lots of hustle and hard work by all the young players. Really great to see them playing so well I knew Choiniere had some skill on the ball, didn't realize he was so quick. Couldn't believe how fast he tracked back a couple times. Bison44
Glad to see they got a road point playing the kids. Lets hope that Garde doesnt hesitate to throw them in again. Grandbloke and Obinna
Grizzly
Saturday against a poorer team in NYCFC with a lineup of the usual starters we played terrible and stole an undeserved point. Tonight against a better team in DC United with 6 young Canadians we played much better and fully deserved the point and even threatened to win. Kadenge
Garde has to be really happy with the draw yesterday. Five 2nd XI (young) players thrust into a starting role in an away game vs a tough opponent and they come away with a result. I hope that at least one or two start the next game . It's a short week though!

Ruud
Goals have to come from somewhere though eh? This life without Piatti was supposed to start next year - this injury sucks! Moldy9

Club Linesman
Pitch looks absolutely awful. Maybe they should reach out to TFC and gets some tips.

Soccerpro
Bayiha and Choiniere on as 2nd half subs today in a 1-0 win over the crew. The kids are really getting their chances in Montreal. maccaliam
jonovision
I don't get many chances to watch a full Impact match as they're rarely on English TV, but today at least Piette was a beast. fmfranck, Club Linesman and Grizzly

Piette is a beast every single game. After Piatti he is probably our best player. Keegan

The grass was pretty brown but it was still 100% better than what we played on in New York the week before. Actually the pitch did not look good but it did not seem poor to play on. I think it looked worse than it was. mpg_29
mtlfan
Agree the condition of the pitch was not a factor and with the team back out on the road for the next two matches it will be in great shape. Impact finding a way to collect points without much of an offence. This may prove to be the best edition of the Impact ever as Garde is getting good performances from every player at his disposal. The Canadian players are gaining confidence which makes for a strong bench.
jonovision
How long was that green card tifo up in the first half? It only made a brief appearance on the TV broadcast.

Hopefully we will continue to see the Canadian players rotated into the line-up. When is Piatti expected back?
MM3/MM2/MM
I just checked the Montréal roster and all 9 international slots are occupied. So one international player has to to be moved on order to add Browne?

jonovision
Is it just me or is Montreal's Canadian-heavy midweek version of their lineup just as good as their apparent first-choice (Piatti-less) squad? Club Linesman
And Jackson Hamel seals it. Choiniere comes on as well to finish it off for Shome who leaves with a knock. Solid win powered by Canadians! No Piatti or Taider. Bison44, Greatest Cockney Rip Off, Chad_Impact and 1 other
