Not just the EPL, as usual Liga MX dominated US soccer tv ratings. 2 matches drew over 1 million each.  Also, European Champions League & CONCACAF Champions League had higher ratings than MLS. Even a Europa League match was watched more than any MLS match. Top MLS match came in at #13.

Should we be shocked by this?  Would a hockey fan in England  more likely watch an NHL game or an Elite Ice Hockey league game?  And I say this as someone who watches TFC regularly.

Ouch..Hudson has no hope with the current squad..hes right on the dp's they shouldnt have 1 gk dp and no offensive ones..but hes been there for a year and a half so should be doing a little better than 2 points in 9 games..san jose doesnt have a much better dp situation and have 8 in 9

You could see it coming with Hudson. I'm surprised he lasted this long.

I can't speak about his tactics because I don't watch Colorado enough, but his resume was not that impressive. Stints with the NZ and Barhain NT are different than coaching club football. His resume is more similar to Stephen Hart (who I like, to be fair) or John Herdman than Remi Garde or Matias Almedya, coaches who have managed a club ar a higher level than MLS. When you have a mid-tier in major league soccer, in terms of spending, you cannot afford to gamble on a guy like Hudson (with all due respect to him). Even if you can't attract a coach with high level club experience, look to one who has been successful at lower level, like Marc Dos Santos or the Timbers Venezuelan coach, who did well in the NASL. Key word is "successful" though.

That was a horrible game by Ted Unkel in the DC vs Columbus game! He knocked over Acosta which then led to a Columbus goal so then he went to VAR and called a foul well before the goal and his interference with Acosta. The foul was even pretty weak. It was an obvious make up call for his mistake. This is an embarrassment!

After the latest shellacking, Brad Friedel has been canned at NE

The Revolution are such a joke. They play on an awful turf, inside a cavernous stadium, located in the middle of nowhere. They haven't been good since Stevie Nicol coached them. They give Brad Friedel the chance to develop as a coach, but then fire him after only 40-something games. What were you actually expecting from him? MLS cup? I have absolutely zero affinity towards NER and even I am annoyed by how terrible they are - not just for this, but overall. This firing is just the icing on top of their **** cake. Get it together Kraft.
