Hello Soccer Fans!

I am a lifelong soccer fan that grew up on Vancouver Island. It was much easier to play soccer than hockey growing up as there were significantly less equipment needs, and our climate was much better suited for year long play. Also as a child, my family moved to Borneo, and I watched the 86 World Cup on Tv from there.  One of my most memorable experiences when living on the other side of the planet was frequently playing soccer with other children whether we could converse in the same language or not.

I don't expect to be a frequent poster to the Voyageur forums, but would like to contribute from time to time. As such, I'm following the guidelines, and posting in the introductions to gain the standard access.  I hope to meet a lot of like minded friends at the upcoming game against French Guiana in March!
