Let the guy be.. his decision will be his own punishment. Could have been a legend for Canada as Bunbury’s kid but is now a 4 friendly cap dime dozen for the USA. It’s sad. nolando, dyslexic nam, Markoaleks and 4 others 4 1
Markoaleks
True bur the butter pass from Tajon to him-could not resist the dig on TB will stand down and enjoy “our” TB and his career progression Edited November 2, 2020 by Markoaleks
Bison44
It is sad, Bunbury senior was one of my favorites. Hopefully Buchanon can get some caps for Canada and show Teal what he missed out on. Sounds like another positive outing for TJ... nolando and Markoaleks 1
Weng
Would that new FIFA rule affect Bunbury considering he was 20-21 when playing those games? toontownman and Ivan

We definetly have enough depth upfront with Cav, Larin and possibly Akinola. And I'd rather give minutes to the younger guys on the right like Buchanan and Corbeanu

I think he brings something different than the other strikers we have. Ivan and Obinna

Teal had played for the Canadian U20 team so he had to file his one time switch in order to represent the US at the Olympic qualifiers. Unless the new rules allows for multiple switches he won't be able to change it again. johnyb
CanadaFan123
The irony is that his USMNT career was essentially ended in the 2-0 loss to Canada in Olympic qualifying.

Corazon
Not that I would ever consider calling up Bunbury for multiple reasons. He is currently sitting at 8 goals this season. 1 goal behind current US youth international Akinola and 3 ahead of our current top scoring MLS Canadian. I didnt bring him up, I just listed his stats. If it was anyone else besides him, we wouldn't be saying "no need to talk about him" I dislike him as much as anyone and would rather focus on our current group of core dedicated strikers and our younger up and coming attackers. VinceA
Who would have thought that the 99 born winger whose first initials have the letter T and B and playing in MLS and would be winning acclaim and excitement from us is not Ballou Tabla but Tajon Buchanon. Sorry i just noticed they both have T and B in their names LOL CanadaFan123, Corazon and Nate3322

rkomar
I like that he's shooting for the CMNT. Hopefully he's already in touch with them and getting advice on what he needs to do to make the team. Club Linesman
Great game tonight at RB until he left with an injury. He looked like a world beater going up and down the wing. Great offensive skill and he did well when forced to defend. He is a shoe-in for the Olympic team and he is also playing his way into consideration for the CMNT. Hope the injury isn’t too serious (not as a result of a challenge or incident). Nate3322, dyslexic nam, gator and 6 others 7

costarg
Looked great tonight! I didn't even know who he was until a 3-4 months ago (thanks to you guys and this site). Its only the 3rd game i've seen him play and he's impressed in each. Nate3322, Dominic94, johnyb and 1 other
gator
I hadn't seen much of him until recently, I echo the thoughts of others, he was really good and the NE attack stagnated for a long time after his departure, we have lots of RB options on our MNT! Dominic94
Yea he was stellar looked like he should be in Europe tonight. When he left the game NE really dropped a level and struggled to create, not a RB by trade but hey another winger and back possibly.
