They haven't played in Montreal or the province of Quebec since World Cup of 2015.

2018 - 2 games in Ontario

2017 - 2 in BC, 1 in Winnipeg, 1 in Toronto

2016 - 2 in Ontario

Against France, because the last 4 friendlies against France have all been in France.

But obviously i have no idea,  just spitballing.

I can't see France playing any friendlies outside of France.  Every other team is going to want to play friendlies in France.  They'll have their pick of playing whoever they want if they stay home.

If Canada wins their group, then they play runners-up in Group D (England or Japan).

If Canada finishes runners-up, then they play runners-up of Group F (USA or Sweden).

If Canada qualifies as a 3rd place team, then they play either winners of Group A (France - or anyone from that group really) or winners of Group D (England or Japan)

Could have been awkward if Jamaica hadn't been drawn as fourth out of the bowl because they couldn't be in Group E or F because of Canada and the USA.  If Cameroon or Chile had been fourth I don't know how they would have explained why those teams weren't plunked as C-4.

Hey and they played a Shawn Mendes song (There's No Holding Us Back) at the end there with break dancers rather than a French singer  so a nod to Canada.

This bracket is wrong - FIFA changed it around yesterday when it was pointed out to them that it's not balanced (4/6 group winners are on the bottom half). Winner of Group E gets runner up of Group D, runner up from Group E gets runner up from Group F, so we only play the US if we both finish 2nd in our respective groups - it's fixed on the Wikipedia article now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_FIFA_Women's_World_Cup

Thanks for the correction. It makes a difference. Especially for the United States, who if they finish first in Group F will get a much lower ranked opponent in the round of 16. FIFA has since put the following schedule on its website:
