Actually beating Haiti by any scoreline next week sees CR through, if they tie here.  But why prolong things? C'mon Costa Rica, get it done.

Doesn't it have to be by 2 goals? Curacao has one more right now.

One goal ties them on goal difference.

A 1-0 win would see CR through on away head to head goals tie breaker.  A win by any other scoreline, CR goes through on total goals scored.

Costa Rica wins 2-1! Absolutely huge for us for Curacao to drop to 1313 and possibly not make the semi-final round. Let's get the job done tomorrow in Orlando.

Great result for us! Much less important, but worth noting, Grenada clinched their League B group today, so that means they will be in League A next time around. Also worth noting that French Guiana were in their group, so even though FIFA ranking shouldn't matter as much for us next time around, that's one non-FIFA nation that won't be in League A next time.

Curacao is finished.

Ridiculous, really, as they are totally competitive with Honduras, Jamaica and Costa Rica as we've seen.  Who knows what they may have accomplished in the Hex.  It's too bad for them.

Google scores has Honduras down 1-0 to Martinique.

To be clear, this match means nothing to us, other than ranking for Nations League final.

If Martinique ever finished above them on their group (by beating them) Honduras would lose points for the loss and not have any additional points via a semi final game.  Couple with a win or draw by us and a semi final game, would that ever put them within reach?

Also curious about El Salvador’s chance of overtaking us.

We should expect El Salvador to win both of their remaining 2 games, both are home games.  They should close this window with 1346 points.

If we win tomorrow, we will have 1356 points.  We'd be in total control of that last spot.

If we tie, we will have 1343 points.  We would need to pick up points in friendlies and win at least one game in the Nations League Finals in June, either the semi final or 3rd place game should be enough.

If we lose, we will have 1331 points.  A 15 point gap essentially eliminates us.  El Salvador would have to lose one of their games this week to keep us in contention.  If they lose one and we lose, we would be close to even on points, and friendlies in March and June will decide it.
