So, Shome made his season debut for the Impact, he was the third sub (after 84 minutes) replacing Krolicki on the midfield. Montreal won 0-2 at Orlando and also featured Piette (90) and Edwards (25 minutes). Johnson played 66 minutes on the other side.

Hope we'll get to see more of Shome in action. He did play a nice tournament in France.

Akindele also played again for Dallas, he played the entire second half but could not prevent Dallas from loosing at NYRB (3-0).

Didic stayed on the bench for Sporting, as they had a nice come-back win over Houston (from 0-2 to 3-2). Jakovic was on the bench for LAFC (no MAK, 2-0 over Columbus).

Weekly USL Update

Charleston Battery 0-0 Pittsburgh Riverhounds - Skylar Thomas plays 90 in the middle of a back 3 this week. He was playing like Doneil Henry was in Ottawa a no nonsense kind of performance clearing balls when pressured and ends up earning a place in the USL Team of the Week. On the other side Jordan Dover plays 90 as a RWB/RM.

North Carolina FC 2-2 Louisville City - Kyle Bekker plays 90. He started as a CM in a 442 so a little more defensive responsibility than he is used to but moved further up the pitch in the 2nd half. He picked up an assist on the first goal as he swung in a good cross from the left that was headed home.

OKC Energy 1-0 LA Galaxy II - Drew Beckie plays 90 at CB again this week in the win.

Rio Grande Valley 0-0 Phoenix Rising - Alessandro Riggi got a brief appearance coming on in the 94th minute.

San Antonio 0-2 Reno 1868 - Jordan Murrell subbed on in the 83rd minute to play LB. This was his first appearance in a while after being injured earlier in the season. Hopefully he can reclaim a starting spot in the team.

Colorado Springs 1-0 FC Fresno - Another solid performance from Schweitzer at DM for Colorado Springs as he plays 90. For Fresno Zach Ellis-Hayden plays another full 90 at RB and Noah Verhoeven gets subbed in at the 65th minute and plays on the right side of midfield.

Orange County SC 6-1 Tulsa Roughnecks - Paris Gee plays 90 at RB in the loss. He has appeared in every Tulsa game this year (15) but I do not know if that is a good thing as they have yet to win a game.

NYRB II 0-3 Ottawa Fury - Everyone knows about Reid and his hat trick but seven other Canadians also started Crepeau, Edward, Dixon, Mannella, Attakora, Haworth and Meilleur-Giguere. Meilleur-Giguere is someone who I think we should be talking about more as he has staked a claim for a starting CB spot on loan and Ottawas form has coincided with his insertion into the lineup.

Swope Park Rangers 3-2 Las Vegas Lights - Amer Didic went down to the USL and played 90 minutes in the win.
