BenFisk'sBiggestFan
Great prices. Both my wife and I are students and i am hoping to get a pair of seasons tickets. But I have to get my wife on board. This is what I am asking for for birthday/Christmas. Maybe if I pool all my gift money I can make it happen. ESG Shawn
Member #169 checking in. Got my season ticket selection call on Friday, and I was able to convince 6 friends to join up with me. We will be in 108C, and can't wait for the season to begin! ThatDaveCh, BenFisk'sBiggestFan, longlugan and 10 others
Ansem
FC Edmonton is pleased to announce the club has signed midfielder Son Yongchan to a contract, following an outstanding showing at the Canadian Premier League’s #GotGame Open Trials. Son becomes the first International player in FC Edmonton’s CPL history. The club has also signed Bruno Zebie, Ajeej Sarkaria and Ajay Khabra to contracts. All three are graduates of the FC Edmonton Academy. dyslexic nam and KW519

KW519
Money well spent by Mr. Yongchan on the Vaughan trial. I look forward to seeing if he can back up the hype!

ESG Shawn
Crunched some numbers based on the ticket availability data found here: https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/fcedmonton/EN/buy/details/19EDFS As of December 13 at 11:19PM mountain, there are 1,515 tickets available for purchase. Based on capacity data of 5,100 being thrown around, my back of the napkin calcs say that 3,585 season tickets have been sold. This assumes they haven't set a bunch aside for match day walk ups. I'm also not sure if the 5,100 capacity includes suites and the premium pitch side tables. Regardless, based on the preliminary data, this seems extremely promising. Interesting that 280 seats are available in 108B, the supporters section. It is possible that in some of the sections where no seats are available, they haven't released those tickets yet or are keeping them for match day walk ups
masster
Paulus is very complimentary of Son Yongchan:https://ottawasun.com/sports/soccer/fc-edmonton-all-smiles-after-sniping-top-talent-at-open-trials/wcm/bb3c0ceb-f780-4446-b0ec-de8197c9f9df Article on Sarkaria leaving USports:https://ottawasun.com/sports/soccer/golden-bears-star-soccer-player-cutting-loose-for-fc-edmonton-ranks/wcm/3f1f4fd8-8c74-47fd-9bf6-12d436fa4abb

So I am guessing that he decided that he didn't want to miss a good chunk of the season for University soccer and signed a full time contract instead of whatever the U Sports contract was

yothat
any word on Daryl Fordyce joining the club for their inaugural season? might be too low of a level. he ll finish his chances
Keegan
Paulus hinted at another winger similar to REB who is 6ft, lightning quick and great on the counter. Also, “we’ve got another big striker, who people will be happy to find out we’ve signed..” Guesses on these two? Maybe Twardek/Cebara and Haber/Jackson/Fordyce/RICKETTS?
