In Turkey, Atiba starts for Besiktas who play Akhisar.  Larin is not in the squad. This is odd as Akhisar are a mid table team, Vagner Love in injured and Larin scored last game. Did he pick up a knock in training?

and interestingly Larin is being promoted on the Besiktas twitter feed now for some club promotional materials.: https://twitter.com/Besiktas/status/984763287605862400

Strangely there's a lot of Besiktas fans complaining about Atiba recently, responses to the lineup post on twitter are filled with people upset that he got back into the XI.

Not sure if it was in training, but yeah he's listed as injured.

Could be that they are still upset how his mistake inadvertently led to the red card against Bayern.

In Germany Hainault started for Magdenburg and played the full 90 against 3rd place Wehen. Huge win for them as the top 2 places are guaranteed promotion and there is now an 8 point gap between them and Wehen with only 5 games remaining (4 left for Wehen).

I am not too surprised. Atiba Hutchinson has been great for so long but the day will come when he's past it. Perhaps we are just seeing signs of that now.

At his age, he'd do well next season to be the experienced, rotational midfielder in the team. And as often the case with those players, you increasingly want to see them on the bench as insurance. Not because they did something wrong, but because that is their role, to bring leadership and mentorship to the team. Let the players in their prime start the matches. That sort of thing. Every squad can use a guy like that.

36 next year. Were does the time go.

In Norway, Adekugbe starts for Valerenga (they're leading 1-5 ATM at Start).

In Serbia, Markovic was a sub that entered the game in minute 79 on Friday, helping Zemun beat Palanka 3-0.

Right now, Cornelius is playing for Javor at Radnik (0-0). Borjan is also playing, Red Star is leading 2-0 over Partizan at the break.

Wassey scored the last goal for Paderborn (0-5 at Osnabrück). He only played the second half.

I think it's safe to say both Wassey (Paderborn) and Hainault (Magdeburg) will go up next season. (Not sure of their contract statuses though, but still). IMO playing in Germanies Second basically warrants a National team call.

Stanese also played in Germanies Dritte. Aalen lost 2-3 at Carl Zeiss Jena (just love that name for a club).

Ben Spencer getting a start too between Fraser and Chapman. Would have preferred to see Daniels in there for sure instead.

Yeah well, Chapman, Fraser, Rickets Hamilton and Telfer are starting. You can't have it all. Hope this rookie line-up doesn't get slaughtered though.

Hoilett scored a banger from outside the box in the 93rd minute to win 2-0.

and with that win, Cardiff move back into 2nd place in the Championship, I point ahead of 3rd place Fulham who tied  Brentford 1-1 and Cardiff have a game in hand. It's going down to the wire as was predicted. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

In Portugal, Stephen Eustaquio was subbed in at the 55' forGD Chaves in a 2-1 loss to Boavista

In Chile both Juan Cordova and Cristian Gutierrez played 90 minutes in Huachipato's 0-0 tie against Deportes Temuco. Cordova played as a right back and Gutierrez on the left side.

I hope we see that for national team really soon !

Gutierrez on the left and Cordova on the right !
