We invest a lot in the USL, in player development, in DPs [Designated Players],” continued Manning. “As the revenues continue to grow, we'll be in a place where this financial model works, [and we can] invest in a women's program and build that.” I've said for a while getting NWSL teams in the big three is an important step for the game in Canada and believe MLSE investing in it would do a lot for women's sports in Canada. ShralpShralpShral
They need to do it and I think will as soon as they can. It would be cool if they were able to play at Lamport or something, would be a blast to go watch.
