Olympique_de_Marseille
This is what we know: This is what we are guessing: -Germany is the only Euro country not playing WCQs in June. They are playing away somewhere on Sat June 9th. http://www.dfb.de/frauen-nationalmannschaft/spiele-termine/ -April is too early to be playing in Hamilton. They don't spend money like BMO Field to be ready that early in the season. There are no CFL games in Hamilton during the June Women's FIFA dates. http://ticats.ca/schedule/ http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Women/General/02/43/21/43/2432143_DOWNLOAD.pdf We played in Germany in 2017. It all fits! Edited. It's June 10th.
Jith12
It's official: Good to see that the women are going to get some action this spring with the Algarve Cup and now this friendly. Quality opposition as well. Good on the CSA for getting this game, also nice for Hamilton to get more WNT exposure.

Vic
They may be #2 in the world but the Germans didn't win a game in SheBelieves. And were beat by Iceland late last year. Throw in the EURO wipeout last summer and ergo they fired coach Steffi Jones in March after the tournament (who had no coaching experience when she was hired). They have hired the current Swiss coach Martina Voss-Teckenburg who will take over after the 2019 qualification in the Fall. She's been given a contract to the 2021 EURO. She has brought in Britta Carlson, a Wolfsburg assistant. The interim coach who will come with the team to Canada is Horst Hrubesch, who has coached the men's U21 for most of the past two decades. For anyone who followed the Champions League Final: "Not included [in the German Canadian roster] are Alexandra Popp, Lena Goessling, Anna Pale and Babett Peter from VfL Wolfsburg and Dzsenifer Marozsan from Olympique Lyon... especially the players who are heavily used by three competitions should regenerate after the exhausting season", says Horst Hrubesch. Sad to see their best players not coming but understandable. Some trivia: The Canadian roster has 1436 caps. The German roster has 435. Sinclair and Matheson combined have more caps than all 20 German players. The four German strikers have a total of 34 caps, or about 10% of Sinclair's. With the exception of Veronica Faisst, every single player on the German team was born in the 1990's. If you include a January '90 birth, almost half of the Canadian team was born in the 80s. The game will be live on Eurosport.

This tournament was supposed to be in April in Nicaragua, it actually started, but then all hell broke lose in Nicaragua so CONCACAF postponed it and it was rescheduled to overlap with this game. I imagine they're making the teams bring the same rosters back barring injury or something.
