USL's Jake Edwards and other's in their league stated they would be in compliance with Division 2 standards last year for 2017 but they were not in the end. They're full of bluster like usual and its the USL way of pretending and hiding their league's problems and they do hide them better than NASL. He did admit they need 4 waivers in the professional league standards though but they have many issues that they won't fix for next year either to be fully D2 compliant.
