If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. Fortuna Duesseldorf (1) plays later today, the second team is playing a Regionalliga match right now, but I cannot determine if Froese is with them. EDIT: Froese went 90 minutes in a 2-1 win over SV Westfalia Rhynern. Caniggia went from start to end for Stuttgart2, in a 2-2 draw at Hessen Kassel. Edward scored the opener for Ottawa and Reid scored his first professional goal, assisted by Haworth. Great game for all Canadians involved. Sucks that he's not sticking with the Whitecaps, as he was one of the most promising prospects coming through the residency program. Best of luck to him in Bulgaria though. Vancouver as of late is pretty bad at bringing through their academy products, typically just burying them in USL. I'd rather see them leave. This site is great for Lille. https://www.facebook.com/toutsurlille/ they post all the teams and updates. So you get the U19 and reserve updates, for example hes currently injured. For Gagnon-Lapare I look at photos here https://www.facebook.com/asvitrefootball/ and search twitter for "Gagnon-Lapare as vitre" and will usually get at least a lineup hit, but no sub info.
