The debate if Davies is a LW or LB should be over ! He’s right now he’s  top 3 LB in the world. If Herdman is too dumb to make it work has him as LB. it’s time for the Hobbit to be shown the door. Also him at LB opens up more attacking options. So this talk of some kids in CPL coming in and jumping on this team. You guys are nuts! I love the CPL I have watched every game. Can’t wait to see Ottawa live. But really truly it’s time to bring out Canada’s best team no more Bullshit ! No more token player call ups like Pantemis or Carducci or Borges because they were playing well in CPL and Canada Soccer wants a feel good story and promote the league. The best players should be called and top duals should be convinced. It’s time to take our place as top 3 in  CONCACAF and qualify of the World Cup !

The question isn’t whether not not he can make Davies at LB.  That is a non issue.  The issue is whether not we are stronger as a team with him at LB or at LW, and that debate isn’t settled or nearly as clear as your post indicates.

Look at Alaba... he never plays LB for Austria, and I’d bet he won’t play CB either. Unleash the beast in a forward position!

I don't buy this. Teibert isn't good enough thats for sure but what media? There are like 3 guys in Van consistently talking Whitecaps. I haven't seen anyone talking bad about Teibert and I can't see Teibert caring. I do think the Caps should move on from Teibert and he should look for a new experience

Seems strange. I thought he was having a pretty good season to date. Seems to be an important player for Marc Dos Santos. He is playing every game and doing his job. Of all the players on the Whitecaps who could be upgraded, Teibert is definitely not the one that comes to my mind. You always know what you will get from him. He is the least of their worries.

If I had to gut this team, I would start with Ali Adnan. That is not a knock on his ability, he is a very good player, but not for a DP spot. There is a reason why he is the only full back on a DP deal. Give the job to Gutierrez and promote an academy player to back him up if needed. Having Gutierrez on the bench is such a waste, perfectly adequate player not being used because Ali Adnan, a luxury player, is occupying the LB spot, and a DP spot. So that is priority number one. Get rid of Adnan.

Next, they need at least 2 strong attacking players. I mean actual strong players.

I like Dajome and Owusu, they have both improved the team, but these guys would be bench players for Toronto and maybe even Montreal as well. Go spend whatever you need to get someone like Juan Quintero from River Plate. Attacking midfielder who is the right age. You see teams like Minnesota plucking these sort of guys from South America, what is Vancouver`s excuse. I do not get it at all....

Wow, I did not know this was where I would end up.

Teibert is a very hard working pro with clear strengths but also areas of his game which have plateau-ed.  In my all-available ideal 23 man roster, he's on the Chris Pozniak short notice taxi squad, with the a few other veteran guys and young prospects on the rise but not quite there yet.

Vancouver have always been a below average side. They operate as a bottom tier legume where they never made signings that made you go “wow, they seem serious this year”. It’s always been players that are no longer wanted from another MLS team, that they think will do good again in a new environment. LeToux, Montero, Perez, Shea, Rosales, Felipe, Kah...and that’s just off the top of my head. As far as I remember, Cavallini even stated he only wanted to play for Toronto.....but then money talked, and they are now overpaying. 

I keep saying this but the organization is better off selling their expansion rights to another American city, and joining the CPL. Their club infrastructure is good, the first team management is has been consistently horrible. 

Oh yea, and Teibert isn’t to blame - he’s the Whitecaps Ashtone Morgan.

The reporting on the caps as of late has indicated that Teibert is the organization's guy and basically the only one that still is on MDS' side. Hence why he's starting.

To note former cap Omar Salgado liked this tweet so i'm guessing Teibert isn't the most liked by a number of Caps and ex-caps.

By blame I meant being someone to talk about/the fall guy. 
Reality is you don’t need a team full of starters. I’ve been one of Rustys biggest critics, but he is who he is - a sporadic sub (although I think he’s had a good season). Him being at the Whitecaps for as long as the team has been a failure is more a reflection of the organization on a whole. 

Like I said, he’s the Ashtone Morgan before TFC was good, and when they became good how often did you see him.
