Canadians in Europe 2017-18 (Champions League & Europa League)

I figured we could use a single thread to discuss and keep track of Canadians playing in Champions League and Europa League, so here we are. Obviously some players might not be staying at their current clubs, but I'll keep it as is until we know for sure if and where they're moving. I've selected any player who is theoretically eligible to play for Canada, regardless of the chances of them doing so.

Currently a total of 12 Canadian players are with clubs that will compete in either Champions League (3) or Europa League (9) this year.

The draws for the first two qualifying rounds of both competitions were made earlier today, here's the list of players and their clubs' draws:

Although it was already mentioned in the weekly Canadians Abroad thread, here's a summary of yesterday's results:

Manjrekar James was not in the 18 for Vasas in a 4-3 loss away to Beitar Jerusalem. Vasas held a 3-1 lead until the 88th minute when they collapsed. Former Ottawa Fury man Idan Vered scored the tying goal for Beitar.

Will Sykes did not appear in the 18 for Lincoln Red Imps in a 5-0 away loss to AEK Larnaca.

Olivier Occean started an played 90 minutes for Odd in a 3-0 home win over Ballymena United. Zakaria Messoudi was not in the 18.

Kenny Stamatopoulos stayed on the bench for AIK in a 0-0 draw away to KÍ.

David Wotherspoon started and played 62 minutes for St. Johnstone in an 2-1 upset loss at home to Trakai of Lithuania.

Probably the best story of the day was Tomer Chencinski, who started and kept a clean sheet for Rovers in a 1-0 win over Stjarnan, their first away win in continental competition since 2011.

Happy for Tomer. If they win this round I believe they play a team from the Czech republic which will be a good test  and also get him more profile. I hope he gets a chance to come to a camp for Canada in the future.
