Nice article from a few weeks ago. Lots of good take away here. Clearly he is pleased to be playing for Canada.
interesting that Herdman is challenging him to get to the next higher league:

I like this guy more and more.  The cups and the confidence will be a great addition to the qualifiers.

Get to ask Wotherspoon a question, pretty cool

I wonder if he will be part of the Gold Cup squad

I could see him at the GC only because I don't think he's worried about losing a spot with St. Johnstone

The fact that St Johnstone doesn’t enter into the Europa League qualifiers until early August means he might come over for the GC.
Have always rated him and his movement off the ball is top notch.

Definitely hope he makes a case for himself as far as starting XI for World Cup Octagonal qualifying in September

Not starting or on the bench for leg 2 of europa league versus Galatsaray. He was playing on the weekend and let 1, anyone know whats up?

A reporter on Twitter said something about him being forced to watch from home …maybe Covid related ?

-Wotherspoon not in the line up as St. Johnstone take on LASK in round.

Still in COVID protocol isolation and did not travel to Austria.

It's been so long that I suspect he may have caught the damn thing. :(

They say he may be back for the weekend, but that is TBD.

Like I said in the Sept window thread, if he's still isolating this close to camp perhaps he should be left at home, which is a bit of a shame but it is what it is.

Even if he finishes isolation tomorrow that's a little too close to comfort if you ask me.

The first game is on the 2nd and the team will be assembling at least 5 days before that, I imagine. Getting pretty tight....

Should be back in training today:

and therefore back in the lineup on Thursday.

His isolation basically lasted two weeks so it does seem like he caught it. :(
