 That needs to change !!!

players  that we should be  scouting and  communicating with   Them constantly  right now !

CB -  Ricardo Ferreira

CB - Fikayo Tomori

W-  Ballou Tabla

M -  Stephen Eustáquio

W-  Tristan Jumeau

F/W- Ayo Akinola

LB- Cristián Gutiérrez

LB- Zohran Bassong

Next season I want to see Herdman   At their games and I want  to hear reports that he’s talking to just like Oz was doing.

Ferdi Kadioglu?

Dom Iankov ?

Of course , Kadioglu would be  very tough to convince  though , he’s got Dutch and Turkish options plus Canadian.   But he did play in the lower league this year.

For comparison...

England: 1 Technical director, 16 full-time youth development advisors, 17 scouts, 51 regional FAs with their own talent identification structures.

Mexico: 1 Technical director, 1 Head of Youth Activities, 5 youth identification camp coaches, ~10 domestic scouts , 3-5 American-based scouts.

USA: 1 General Manager, 1 Head of Youth Development, 1 Head of Scouting, 1 Head of Talent Identification Systems, 9 technical advisors,  50 regional development coordinators, ~100 part-time scouts in the US,  ~50 part-time scouts abroad.

Canada: 1 General Manager, 1 Head of Development, 1 Director of Player Development, 1 Head of Long-Term Player Development

But I'm sure at least one of our guys plays Football Manager, so that evens it all out, eh?!

Hosting the WC will help us more than the US with dual nationals relatively speaking. They already have  a lot of top class young players in their system.... just look at their recent performances. So it's going to be very hard to break into their squad over the next 8 years. The CMNT does not have that level or depth of quality. It's improving but we have a number of young dual nationals that could be difference makers if they sign up.

No matter how many the us cap tie they will still miss some.

In four years there will be people complaining how Herdman did not cap Tabla but capped a bunch of other player who did not go on to have great careers. The same conversation will be going on then, trying to cap everyone right now so we don't miss players like Tabla.

What has Talba done ? We didn’t miss the guy he refused our callups and defected.

ive said this before but these guys know what the countries are doing, you don’t accept that call without believing you’ll make the senior NT as a regular...

Canada should be following their examples and if by doing so they can only get better

Also Canada should be looking to reach out to some of the young players now and give them call ups straight away. At least in doing that you build towards the future right away.

Are you advocating for giving call ups to players who may not deserve it just because they are dual nationals?

No I am advocating for players who might actually have talent because you never know what could happen between now and 8 years from now. Better to start thinking now rather than later wouldn't you agree :)

So call up players who deserve it then? I hope that’s always the goal!
