Given that Canada hasn't qualified for a world cup in his absence, I'm guessing there probably isn't much regret at missing taxing  games that would have affected his career. Plus, with NIreland he's only ever a good season away from a call up

In a world where players come and go, it's interesting to see someone come and stay. Rollins isn't suggesting his kids are going to be internationals - he is using them as an example of how settled Bradley is in Canada.

Eriq Zavaleta has been with TFC for 5 years now.  He could probably get his Canadian citizenship and file a 1 time switch if he wanted to.  He’s expressed wanting to play for El Salvador in the past and would be a major upgrade for them.

I’m not exactly sure where he would fit in our CB depth but I think he would be a top 5 CB for us.

Hasnt Bush said he has no desire to switch?  And dont these guys have to basically stay year round in canada??  If they split in the offseason they wont have enough days in canada over the 5 year period.  As for Zaveleta, I would take Waterman or Didic over him.

Zavaleta has played in official youth competitions for the US. He'll never be able to switch to Canada since he didn't hold Canadian citizenship when he played for the US. El Salvador would be his only option if he decided to file his switch.

Dont play dumb. I raised the idea of imported young foreign talent into the CPL a year ago and was belitted, told it was unethical, denying local talent etc etc.

Its a proven model around the world - ie Qatar, Portugal

Good to hear.  That interview with Biello is looking like quite the newsbreaker!  And, in his appearance on the Premier Podcast, Stefan Mitrovic stated that he and Corbeanu were good friends growing up and remain good buddies.  That bodes well for his international future from a Canadian perspective.
