shermanator
Would love to see Gasparotto make his debut. One of the few CB's who's played regularly for the last few years, and progressed to better levels during his time over in Europe.
JimmyJames
Call me crazy, I think we should get a result against Scotland. 1-1 is my prediction. We score early and they equalize late. Take it to the bank.

Kent
Never say never, but just thought I'd post our all-time record against Scotland here. June 12th, 1983 - Empire Stadium, Vancouver - Canada 0 Scotland 2 (That's the score that was on canadasoccer.com yesterday, for some reason today there is no score listed). June 16th, 1983 - Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton - Canada 0 Scotland 3 June 19th, 1983 - Varsity Stadium, Toronto - Canada 0 Scotland 2 May 20th, 1992 - Varsity Stadium, Toronto - Canada 1 Scotland 3 (this was the first Canada game I saw live! Went with my youth soccer team) October 15th, 2002 - Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh - Canada 1 Scotland 3 So we don't have a great record against Scotland. 5 games, 5 multi goal losses. Scotland is in poor form right now (so are we of course, as always) so hopefully we can get a better result this time around.

There will be no Edgar or Henry. He might just have a chance to see the field.

baulderdash77
No Larin, Osorio, Johnson, Akindele. I know this is just a friendly but the American MLS players be leaving for the USMNT, why not the Canadians?

baulderdash77
There's several MLS players who are U23 eligible but this looks to be pretty much the cream of the U23 crop.

I think by omitting our top MLS players, Borjan and Atiba we are not putting out close to our strongest roster. We probably only have 4 true starters (Lederwood or Aird, James, Hoilett, Arfield) from our best 11 out there.

Floortom
Man that is an atrocious roster. Would be pretty surprised if we managed to put together a decent performance against Scotland but hopefully we don't get destroyed
Floortom
Somewhat surprised that Vitoria wasn't called. Not saying it makes a difference either way, but would have thought he would be there. also, I'm guessing we didn't even bother calling the top MLS guys like Larin, Johnson, Akindele,
