nolando
It's must be an honour for Julian to have his afro taken out of retirement, even if only as a one-time tribute!
nolando
Aird and Arfield's efforts alone have me feeling like anything less than a draw will be a real shame.
Floortom
Ledgerwood really struggles at making the most basic of forward passes
nolando
Must say, although I'll never be a fan, Bustos has been halfway decent.

nolando
Some nice, very un-Canadian, late passing flair down that right side late in the match
nolando
Findlay's caretaker sides have fared very well...lots of attacking acumen. Glad he's still a part of the management side of things at the senior level.

shermanator
So, remember when Scotland were going to destroy Canada in this friendly based on the lineup we called?

To be fair, even on an off-night, they would have had their way with our U-23s ;>

I was primarily looking at what we did with possession when we had it, passing, movement, and decision making ....and to me Bustos did all of that. He rarely gave the ball away, and held up the ball nicely.

We havent had this much action on the right wing in years. He's looking really dangerous. Damn right, a few of us were pining for Aird at RM instead of RB. As mediocre as he was at defending at RB with Vancouver you could see the attacking skills and confidence whenever he went forward.
JimmyJames
I am happy with this result, lots of newish faces and most of our MLS players not on the roster. That kid from Frankfurt I think, I like him....

Seeing the way Bustos plays i think he'll catch on in the Chilean Primera when he inevitably gets released by Vancouver.
