Adekugbe is not in the 18 for Brighton today against Sheffield Wednesday. Guess we wait and see what happens with him in the next few months.

I think he has the ability to play at that level, but he's stuck behind some very good players at Brighton.

With that win Besiktas goes first, finally overtaking suprise side Istanbul Basaksehir, and with a bit of a spread over Fenerbace and Galatasaray. Rooting for them to win Turkey again and seed high in Champions for next year.

The Turkish champions do not get an automatic seed in the group stage.

Besiktas' run in Europe this year has moved them up to 54th from 62nd in UEFA's club coefficient ranking. It is still too early to say, but if they continue to advance, and depending on who else qualifies for next year's tournaments, they could move up from Pot 4 to Pot 3.

Spoken by a true master!

They also probably have the easiest tie in the round of 32 in Europa League, if they go deeper that will help their ranking too.

To be fair, they really should have qualified in Champions, they screwed up so dumbly that last day.

Am I right that Atiba has just one year on the contract now, or is it longer?
