RJB
1. Borjan 2. Hutchinson 3. De Jong So, I'll say that I De Jong comes in at #3 for me, a bit of a throw away vote, but at the same time I thought he played the best game he's ever played vs. El Salvador - he was spectacular. I'll give him a single point just to get him on the final tally on the strength of that performance. And Borjan was spectacular overall. I was so heartened by his performances and dedication. Remember him getting at the ball-boys at BC Place vs. Honduras! And Hutch is Hutch. I think the best player we've ever had. Tell me, have you ever been afraid when he has the ball? He gives me such confidence, I'll sure miss him if he's all done.
RJB
And one more thing... any way we could move this to a secret ballot? Maybe we release the votes after the winner is announced? I'll volunteer to keep that tally for next year, if you want.

Cheeta
No disrespect but if you told me Ricketts would finish a respectable 4th in the V's annual poll a year ago I'd have looked at you like you had two heads. Bully for him. And if memory serves, I'd have to say not since DeRo won in 2011 has Hutch been even close to being "out" of the running to win the thing. I mean really? How is the man not a house-hold name in this country? Or at least an icon in our footie culture (like say Sinclair)?
