Levi Oakey
I couldn't find a thread for her, but was digging around the MOACA and remembered the name. She is now a full professional playing in Switzerland and the Neunkirch are 10-0. She is the teams captain and plays with Pietrangelo. Adriana Leon also plays in this league. tc-in-bc
[ 1 ] FC Neunkirch Frauen: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrePDu6PoXkH0830TTGxuJA https://www.facebook.com/fcneunkirchfrauen/ https://www.instagram.com/fcneunkirchfrauen/ https://twitter.com/fcneunkirch [ 2 ] If Neunkirch keeps it up then they could win the league title and be the league's ( Nationalliga A frauen ) single representative in next year's UEFA Women's Champions League. This is a bit amazing because Neunkirch is small Swiss town of about 2000 people whereas Zurich ( who won the league last season and were in Champions League this year ) are a city of 300 000. [ 3 ] Lagonia is in her third season with Neunkirch and Pietrangelo just joined earlier this year ( though in her second season ) Both are instrumental in Neunkirch's success. Levi Oakey
I haven't watch Alyssa play, but I know she had been called up to Canada in the past. She scored three goals in their last game. She was last called up in 2012, she is 27 now and in the prime of her career.

Levi Oakey
Won the Swiss Cup. They drew their title rivals Zurich and now just have to not lose their last two games and they will be champions of Switzerland. Very good chance that FC Neunkirch will be in the Champions League next year. And they are led by Lagonia. Stunning really considering they only made the first division Switzerland in 2014. tc-in-bc
[ 1 ] Some old video of Alyssa Lagonia when she played for Doncaster Rover Belles in FA WSL in 2012: - Lagonia goal against Lincoln Ladies at 25 sec mark : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3g4TI--eTs - Lagonia goal against Chelsea Ladies ( then coached by Matt Beard ) at 22 sec mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsSijepK06o
tc-in-bc
[ 1 ] Congratulations to Alyssa Lagonia and to Amelia Pietrangelo and to FC Neunkirch for winning the double ( Swiss cup and league champion ) and for ending FC Zurich's domination of Nationalliga A ( Zurich have won the league 7 times in 8 years including the last 5 years in a row ). Most importantly, FC Neunkirch are Switzerland's sole representative in next season's ( 2017/18 ) UEFA Women's Champions League! So likely two more Canadians in Champions League next season ! http://www.frauenfussballmagazin.ch/2017/06/neunkirch-holt-das-double/
tc-in-bc
[ 1 ] Bad news. FC Neunkirch Frauen have withdrawn from next season's Nationalliga A and won't be Switzerland's representative in 2017/2018 UWCL season due to a lack of funds .There is the suggestion in the article that key sponsorship money that financed the club was embezzelled. The current status of Alyssa Lagonia and Amelia Pietrangelo is unknown, perhaps FC Zurich Frauen will pick them up. http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/sport/fussball/Darf-der-FCZ-naechste-Saison-in-der-Champions-League-spielen/story/13159536
Levi Oakey
Sounds like she will sign with a Champions League side in Cyprus. Rough ending to the season though considering how great they were doing.
