You haven't hired an arborist recently.

This is a little jewel of a comment. I have a close friend who's wife is a certified arborist on the Sunshine Coast, near Vancouver. Actually, a fascinating job, and while not exactly lucrative, and a bit seasonal, there are amazing income streams. The one I Iike is doing insurance assessment. A neighbour goes on to your yard and cuts down a tree to benefit his view. You claim damages, and the arborist is called in by the insurance company to assess the value. Same as in fires, in case of disease, depending how much you insure the trees on your property.

She also has regular customers just doing regular disease control on trees, or pruning, as well as doing planting design (she runs the largest garden centre up there) and landscaping. She also has an experimental plot, I send her odd seeds from Spain and she'll grow them and then start marketing some unusual plant never seen up there before (Padrón Peppers!).

This is at least as prestigious and gratifying as kicking a ball around for a living.

I think a player like Norman Jr should spend 2 seasons in the CPL playing everday. I could see him being a Bustos, Borges level player in this league. Then he could springboard somewhere else

I remember Norman Jr having some success over in Scotland.  Queen of the South wanted to keep him, but he Whitecaps recalled his loan and then never played him, because of course they did.  So I would expect him to explore options there before turning to the CPL.  I don't see him being either a Bustos or Borges, as he just doesn't have the offensive talents they do.
