Luca Gasparotto gets his usual start for Falkirk. He played 90 mins, and had a crucial clearance off of the line in a 2-1 win.

Atiba Hutichinson also gets his usual start for Besiktas. Played 90 mins, and picked up a yellow card in a 1-0 win.

Still early, but Falkirk are in 3rd place in the Scottish Championship after 9 games. That is a promotion playoff spot. 1 point behind Hibernian who are in first.

Besiktas are in first place in Turkey, tied with Galatasaray.

Hasn't seemed to make the progress we all hoped for after his hype.

Hopefully he can get a good run of form going and stay injury free. He was slotted into the starting role immediately after returning, giving the impression stuttgart rates him highly. Another 5 -0 thumping for the first team, and he might just get a run out .

2 points on this:

1. We shouldn't be so quick to hype our young talent, which we did after hearing Elva was "eyed by Arsenal, Barcelona, Benfica and other". Having unsuccessful trials at big clubs doesn't mean a damn thing in the long run. Playing does.

2. We also shouldn't be so quick to write off our young talent either based on what we see on Soccerway. Remember that Elva has been injured most of the season.
