Wouldn't say any of them would make it but I do find it odd that outside of one player in the squad ( a few years back ), none of them have ever really had a sniff with the nats. One American Posted May 7, 2017 Share Posted May 7, 2017 USA won 4-2, IIRC, for the record. For a guy who scores and scores, Akinola takes a lot of grief from USYNT fans. It's hard to explain, but they tend to be wary of guys who are physical. All some of them want are 10 5-4 playmakers who can juggle forever.
