Are you happy with the result?

Sorry long post...

We are happy with it. . Like I said not an easy one. Not sure people know how hard it is.

So many variables

Do you take the higher division club but risk being a squad player and not playing much (look up Ben Woodburn Sheffield United)) and risk losing a year.

Or drop down too much and devalue yourself.

Do you go abroad but risk not settling and is the different  culture too much!?  ( I think the French Canadian players settle well in Belgium...)

Does the style of the team fit ur style( Liam is direct, quick  and need service to feet or in behind he’s not a hold up merchant no offence meant)

Does The manager fancy playing young players(Tony Pulis doesn’t avoid at all cost)

Do you stay with the reserves in hopes of getting a chance with the first team?!? (Again see Ben)It’s not enough to be good enough they have to like your face..( a longer convo..)

As for the Vince question. It’s not to say he’s not in Klopp a long term plans just not now. When he signed his new contract he had a meeting with Klopp where he was told to go learn his trade get game time. Grow as a player. Part of his education...

He is under contract for 3 more years. He needs to get out and play. Get 30-40 games under his belt at a good level smash in 10 goals and then be looking to try to push into the first team next summer or look to move permanently after the loan to a mid table prem team or a top champ team.. just how it works. The big clubs hold all cards. Look up Harry Wilson...

sorry for the long post again been a tough few weeks...

This doesn't surprise me... SPL quality is so dodgy except for Celtic and maybe Rangers.

Hope Liam gets a loan to a better league or team.

Top 6 SPL is mid level Championship (Edit Celtic and Rangers probably lower Prem) and the bottom 6 is top of league one.... end of.

yes it’s official. Like I said we thought very long and hard. A good decision best fit for him. He will be looking to start every game... Guarantees in place for playing time but it’s up to him now. He needs to go smash it. Get a good 30-40 games under his belt will be great for him! Very happy for him!!!

Logical move. He was really growing into his own in the SPL and now has the platform to continue on this path.

Didn't they get knocked out of Europa league qualifying? That sure is a shame, as the extra games would have provided more opportunities.

If he can get anywhere from 5 to 10 goals and/or become a starter, that would have to be considered a very successful loan campaign.

There's a 22 year old winger, Wilson I believe his name is, who is close to getting loaned out from Liverpool to Bournmouth. The Welsh international spent last season on loan at Derby County, where he racked up 15 goals.

This seems like the path Millar is on. Each season he doesn't stick with Liverpool, he can hope/expect for loans which are progressively more challenging, so long as he does well and proves himself.

He played really well was always on the ball and ran at defenders. Not much options for him in the middle. Was getting kicked and hacked and triple teamed every time he got the ball. The red card was a horror tackle knee high against Liam. The SpFL will be an education

the two goals kfc gave up we’re a gong show really ... Liam has to keep focusing on his personal performances and keep pushing. Good to get another 76 mins under his belt... same again(same team) next week in the cup...
