Just to recap the Fury v Armada game from the weekend, Ouimette started at CB for Jacksonville and Edward, Roberts, JDG, Tissot and Haworth started for Ottawa with Eustaquio coming on in the 68th minute.

Ouimette was guilty of a pretty awful marking error on the first goal, he came across to close down Bryan Olivera who already had two on him, leaving Tommy Stewart in all sorts of space for the opening goal. Haworth scored the second from the top of the box for his fifth in all competitions this season. Julian had a good game as well I believe, and Tissot and Edward both had great chances on goal.

Drew Beckie scored the 2nd goal for the Fury tonight in their 2-0 win, unfortunately he now plays for  Carolina.

Unfortunately for him, it's also his first professional goal

MOM Carl Haworth scored the opener for Ottawa, he's now tied for fifth in NASL scoring with five goals. Eustaquio was subbed on for Jamar Dixon in the 65th minute as well.

Nik Ledgerwood scored the tying goal for Edmonton in a come-from-behind 2-1 win at home vs the Cosmos.

Fernandes kept his sixth clean sheet of the season, tied for the league lead now, in a 1-0 win over Tampa.

Shamit Shome had a dodgy first half for the Eddies but was dynamite in the second before he was subbed off. Got a great scoring chance that never should have fallen to him and forced a good savs, had a goal chalked off on a close offside, and was very high-energy in a pressure situation. It was my first time watching him live and he wasn't Canadian of the Match but I saw his point.

Karl Ouimette on the bench for Jacksonville vs Fort Lauderdale; Nana still out injured for the Strikers.

Mauro Eustaquio makes his third start of the season for Ottawa vs the Rowdies. Haworth, de Guzman, Tissot, Dixon and Roberts also start for the Fury with DeBellis and Edward on the bench.

Trafford starts at CB for Miami FC.

Fernandes expected to start once again for Rayo OKC vs Minnesota.

Karl Ouimette sat on the bench the entire game for Jax, I don't know if it's because of a knock or if he was left out after a poor game at CB vs Ottawa.

Mallan Roberts scored his first goal for the Fury in the 2nd minute off a wonderful one-touch volley from Mauro Eustaquio; both had otherwise very good games as well. Ottawa's second goal was a forced OG off a cross by Maxim Tissot, which closed out the 2-0 win. Julian de Guzman played 90 minutes for the first time in a long while and was very good as usual, plenty of great passes, tackles and three interceptions; made a lot of threatening runs forward as Eustaquio held down the holding mid role. Dixon had a much better game starting at RWB. Haworth had a decent game, had a good chance which he sent over the bar, but was otherwise very closely marked the whole match. Eddie Edward came in for Tissot in the 67th minute and played well in the time he was on.

Mason Trafford played 90 minutes and had a solid game for Miami in a 2-1 win, making 14 clearances.

Fernandes made two saves in a 2-2 draw against Minnesota United.

After getting sore eyes from watching Montreal trying to get into a game against Charlotte, the game in Ottawa was a pleasurable viewing.

Eustaqio dominated the midfield. He seems to have finally fought himself back into the line-up and doesn't want to let go. Really strong performance from the kid.

You missed Carl Haworth 1151; also Eddie Edward has played 1271 minutes and Roberts 776 in total between FCE and Ottawa, I think you may have gotten the numbers for Ottawa alone.

Karl Ouimette started at CB and played 90 minutes for Jacksonville in a messy 5-2 loss to Indy tonight. Jacksonville apparently started the game playing a 3-5-2 much like the Fury have lately, only it clearly did not go as planned. This is now the Armada's fifth loss in a row and they sit last in the fall season table.

Karl Ouimette starting at CB for Jacksonville vs Carolina. Drew Beckie starting in midfield for the latter.

Haworth, de Guzman, Tissot, Edward and Roberts starting for the Fury vs Indy. Dixon, Eustaquio and DeBellis on the bench.

Shome and Ledgerwood starting for FCE vs Puerto Rico. Zebie, Fisk and Farago on the bench.

Nana makes his return from injury for Fort Lauderdale, interestingly he'll start as a DM for the Strikers vs Tampa and Geison Moura will play RB.

Mason Trafford starts at CB for Miami vs Minnesota.

Ouimette and Beckie both played 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw between Jacksonville and Carolina. Beckie had his first assist of the season on the opening goal in the 7th minute for the RailHawks.

Haworth, Edward, Tissot and Roberts played 90 for Ottawa, and Julian de Guzman was subbed off for Eustaquio in the 87th minute. Despite the 1-0 loss, Edward and Tissot played well once again, Tissot in particular had a handful of very dangerous crosses. Carl Haworth was involved in some of Ottawa's relatively limited number of attacks in the game, especially early on, when he was just out of reach of a Tissot cross and later had a decent shot from outside the box skip past the far post. Roberts had some good tackles as well as a couple awkward plays as Ottawa were under pressure and had multiple extremely close calls in their end. De Guzman had one of his better games of the season so far, he's been in good form the last couple weeks.

Shome and Ledgerwood played 90 for Edmonton in a 1-0 win over Puerto Rico. Ben Fisk came on as a sub in the 70th minute.

Nana Attakora played 90 minutes in his return for Fort Lauderdale in a 2-1 loss to the Rowdies.

Roberts, Edward, Tissot, Eustaquio and Haworth all started for Ottawa vs Jacksonville. Malekos, Conte, Dixon and DeBellis on the bench. Haworth had an excellent finish on the Fury's lone goal, he and Tissot were notably active throughout most of the game in attack. Dixon came on as a sub for Eddie Edward in the 76th minute and Tissot came off in injury time. De Guzman not in the 18 for Ottawa due to a knee injury sustained earlier in the week. Ouimette also not in the 18 for JAX, but I do not know why, perhaps an injury as well.

Beckie got a rare start at CB for Carolina, had a great diving clearance in the 27th minute and was subbed off in the 43rd (I'm not sure why, didn't see the game and none of the reports seem to mention it).

Daniel Fernandes had a pretty shaky game for Rayo, he had trouble keeping control of the ball on at least three occasions, two of which resulted in goals in the 2-1 loss to Indy.

Mason Trafford started at CB and Nana Attakora started at RB for Miami and Fort Lauderdale, respectively in a 2-0 win for the Strikers. Attakora seems to have been fairly involved in the attack and Trafford was not at fault for either Fort Lauderdale goal.

Ledgerwood and Shome started for FCE in a 1-0 win over Minnesota. Fisk and Farago on the bench but neither saw action. Shome played 73 minutes, Ledgerwood played 80.

Attakora starts for the Strikers tonight vs Ottawa, who will feature Roberts, Edward, Tissot, Dixon and Haworth in the XI and Eustaquio and DeBellis on the bench.

Drew Beckie will start at CB again for Carolina against Indy.

Shome and Ledgerwood start for FCE against Tampa, with only Farago on the bench, no Fisk.

Trafford starts at CB for Miami vs Rayo OKC, who will start with Daniel Fernandes in goal.

Carl Haworth scored a free header against Fort Lauderdale yesterday for his 7th goal of the NASL season (now in a four-way tie for fourth in league scoring) off an excellent cross from Maxim Tissot. Eddie Edward also had a good game, earning a penalty that would have given Ottawa a come-from-behind lead in the 38th minute if Haworth had managed to convert it. Dixon had a poor game in central midfield, it felt like he barely touched the ball and did not seem particularly comfortable in the 3-1 away loss. Roberts did fine for the most part and was subbed off for an extra attacker in the 81st minute. I believe it was he who was partly at fault for Fort Lauderdale's second goal, as his attempted clearance hit Dixon and bounced up back toward Amauri who then finished it with a bicycle kick. Attakora was involved at times for the Strikers, but was not particularly notable.

Beckie played 90 minutes for Carolina and conceded a penalty in the 30th minute, pulling back Souleymane Youla who was in alone on goal. He was burned pretty badly by Youla who out-muscled him for the ball, and on top of that it did not seem like a good professional foul at all, as Fitzgerald was able to come out and knock it away regardless.

Shome and Ledgerwood played 78 and 65 minutes respectively in Edmonton's fifth straight win, 1-0 over Tampa Bay. Shome started the attack that led to the foul on Ameobi in the box that would be converted by Fordyce to secure the win for the Eddies.

Mason Trafford played 90 minutes and launched a long pass forward that led to the tying goal in the 79th minute in what would be an impressive come-from-behind 2-1 win for Miami. Fernandes was under little pressure most of the game for Rayo, but had one good save and three in total. He had little chance on either Miami goal.

DeBellis makes his third league appearance of the season for Ottawa in place of Romuald Peiser. Edward and Roberts start at CB, with Tissot, Eustaquio and Dixon in midfield. Haworth not in the 18 for the Fury. Conte, Malekos and MacRae on the bench. Trafford starts at CB for Miami.

Marcel DeBellis looked shaky at times, but made a couple of great saves to secure his first professional clean sheet in the 0-0 draw at home to Miami. Edward looked good as an outside CB despite being played out of position and Roberts was also pretty solid. Dixon still seemed a bit tentative at times, but was generally okay at RWB. Tissot was decent as well but was denied a lot of the space on the flank he usually gets. Eustaquio looked pretty good as well. Conte and Malekos remained on the bench for Ottawa.

Trafford wasn't involved too much as the game was largely in midfield, but did very well for Miami when called upon.

Drew Beckie started at DM for Carolina and played 90 in a 6-1 collapse to New York in which they conceded five goals in the last 30 or so minutes of the game. He picked up a yellow in the 84th minute and it didn't look like he was directly responsible for any of the NYC goals.

Fernandes played 90 in a 2-0 loss to Tampa. Played pretty well, saved a Joe Cole penalty in the 10th minute and had another great save on Eric Avila in the 36th minute among multiple others. He conceded two to Joe Cole later on however, on the first Cole got in behind Rayo's defense and beat Fernandes with a shot which deflected deflected off a defender to be him short side. On the second Fernandes made an initial save off a break for Tampa, but Cole was unmarked and cleaned up.

Mason Trafford started at CB for Miami and played 90 in a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United. He was caught upfield on the Loon goal, but it was moreso the fault of the two men back who failed to close down Laing 1v2 on the break.
