Ricardo Ferreira played a full game for SC Braga vs Setúbal... except he got a red card in the 90th minute so they were down to 9 men (there was another red in the 87th minute).  Braga won 3-2.

Will he miss the May 2nd game ? or the May 7th game?

He'll miss the May 8th game against Academica. The May 2nd match is a Cup game at Benfica for which he should be available.

Haworth the lone starter for the Fury against Miami FC. De Guzman and De Jong are both injured. Trafford starting for Miami FC. Gyorio, Porter, Eustaquio, de Bellis and MacRae all on the bench (2 goalies, hmm)

Looks like a good crowd in Ottawa despite the offseason / poor start, so I am impressed! Step up your game Edmonton you're looking bad.

Bernier, Bekker, Tissot and Lefevre all starting against Colorado. Creapeau and Gagnon-Lapare on the bench. Wish I could watch this game! It's hard to follow the Impact this year if you just have TSN or Sportsnet.

Adekugbe starts and Teibert is on the bench against NYC FC. Aird is not in the 18. Have to say I'm disappointed that Teibert is not in the starting 11 after a very good performance on Wed.

Polish 3rd tier today

Dawid Kwiek came on in the 46th min for Radomiak Radom in a 4-2 win over Siarka Tarnobrzeg.

Maksym Kowal started and played 90 minutes for Olimpia Zambrow in a 3-1 defeat at home against Kotwica Kołobrzeg

Slovak 2nd tier

Mohamed Amer Aborig was an unused sub for Dunajska Luzna in a 1-1 draw with SK Senec.  Dunajska Luzna are playing in the relegation group but they aren't in any real danger of relegation.

Aleman on the bench in the semi against Belen. He has rarely seen the bench since Medford took over

Medford must be an even bigger idiot than Floro for not playing him!!! ;)

On a more serious note, Cornelius scored today in the Lubeck's U19 3-2 victory over Blumenthaler SV in the German youth league 2nd division. Despite all the interest in Cornelius from good senior clubs Lubeck decided to keep him in the U19 squad not the senior club even though if he is good enough for a serious trial with Russian and Norwegian 1st division teams he would definitely be good enough to play in the 4th division. I am not sure the reason for this but there are several possibilities, there may be advantages in eventual transfer fees keeping him as a youth player (not an expert on transfer rules so not sure but it is a possibility), they may think he will benefit more playing against younger but more gifted players than the older less skilled adult journeymen in the 4th division, they may be worried about possible injury hurting their investment in him in the rough 4th division, by the time he got his licence the senior team was not really in a promotion position while their youth team is a possibility to promote to the 1st division youth league so that may be more important to the club than the 1st team (though their 1st team are not entirely out of relegation danger).

I don't think I saw it mentioned yet, but Middlesbrough drew for the 3rd match in a row, giving Burnley (Arfield) a chance to essentially lock up an automatic promotion spot with a win today vs. QPR.

Three Canadians starting Arfield, Hoilett, and Petrasso!

IMFC has been rolling with 4 Canadian starters in the last couple of games, while TFC has two regular starters and a few that get pretty frequent minutes off the bench (Morgan, Babouli, Chapman on occasion). Things are turning around in the MLS sphere, and are bound to get better when the academy kids who have been developed properly from an early age start arriving
