He didn't play for England U-21s in their qualifier against the Netherlands today.

Yes he was on the bench vs the Netherlands back in September:

but in September he also played a full game vs Latvia:
http://www.uefa.com/under21/season=2019/matches/round=2000803/match=2022371/lineups/index.html#/

In October he was on the bench vs Scotland:
http://www.uefa.com/under21/season=2019/matches/round=2000803/match=2022370/lineups/index.html#/

But played a full game vs Andorra:
http://www.uefa.com/under21/season=2019/matches/round=2000803/match=2022367/lineups/index.html#/

In November he played a full game vs Ukraine:

At club level, things are tough. Hull City is near the relegation zone and Tomori is not always playing that well:

Tomori's chances of playing for Canada are slim, but there is still a possibility of him not playing for England and Nigeria.  In addition to the fact that most national teams would need at most 4-6 CB's at any one time, and England has more depth than we do, he could fall through the cracks.  How many can't miss kids actually become stars.  I have read tens of names of young players on here in the past couple of years but how many have achieved a high level of success to this point?  Not many. If Tomori is one of those he just might suit up for Les Rouges.  Also it appears the Wizard of OZ is following through with these dual nationality players and hopefully he will push just enough to get those guys to commit when the time is right.

Not many kids become stars. But a whole lot more of them are capped unfortunately....

As of now (a lot can happen in the next 4 years) the battle is between us and Nigeria. England is very deep  at both the right back and central defender positions with young talented players  already playing in the EPL

Since I usually skim through the posts when it comes to eligibility, I apologize if this has already been covered but since he represented us then switched to England, doesn’t that make this whole thread a moot point since he would have had to file his 1-time switch?

No because he only played in friendlies for us. If he had played for us in qualifiers or a FIFA tournament then he would have had to file the one time switch. He has played in a youth World Cup for England, so he would need to file a one time switch to play with us again.

Let's not count out England. He just won a World Cup with them last year.

Tomori has had a tough start to 2018. He has gone from regular starter to only 76 minutes in the last 8 games for Hull City.
Hull sit 17th out of 24 teams right now, and have moved up the table since Tomori has been on the bench: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_EFL_Championship

(I've excluded Hull City's FA Cup game vs Chelsea since, he was not eligible to play due to the conditions of his loan)

England U21 will play a home friendly vs Romania (Wolverhampton) before their match against Ukraine (Sheffield), I wonder if he gets the call...

I feel a little ashamed to like this quote.

And this after he played consistently for BHA last season  to win the Championship and promotion to the EPL.  A step back in his development for sure

The CSA and Herdman should be meeting with him and sweet talking him right now! It’s time to strike

No, now is not the "time to strike". Don't pester the man. He pretty much grew up in England. He isn't even close to an England senior call so let him fight for U21(U23) football for England until at the latest June 30th 2019 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_UEFA_European_Under-21_Championship

Perhaps, I don't recall him being a  regular starter for them though, like he was for Hull earlier this season:

Tomori was loaned to BHA at the end of Jan 2017 (Jan 23) and appeared in 10 games  during a relatively short window for a team that won the Championship last season. He may have played more minutes for Hull this season, but he has been with them since the start of the season and his appearances all came in the early part of the schedule and Hull  are struggling. Still very young and much too early to extrapolate his ceiling.

Except for Canada. There has been some serious juju on our RB spot since Stalteri's retirement...

Our CB situation hasn't been much better and it's a more important position. I'd rather a guy who might end up being our top defender (if he picks us/isn't good enough for ENG) and plays in Championship/EPL anchor the middle instead of being a defensive RB.

I guess we were due for a drought.  After penciling in Stalteri as a starter for almost 10 years.  My grampa would say 7 good years, then 7 bad.  Maybe we are due for someone to come along soon!

I don't disagree with that.

We need better CBs but at least the players in that position seem to be CBs - they are just not good enough.

I am not convinced yet that Aird or Petrasso are RBs, though we have tried. Before them it was Dixon - same thing applies. Before Dixon - Henry (no), Ouimette (no), Edgar (band-aid).

I have hope for Cardova, and I haven't given up on Petrasso or Aird, I just feel none of those guys will be great players at that spot. Adequate perhaps, until the next Stalteri comes along...

Super excited positive youngsters, I cant remember it but maybe you can Keegan.  Your whole life in front of you, happy and carefree, thinking we will qualify for every world cup and we'll soon see CDN teams/leagues sprouting up like dandylions.  Ahhhhhh......

Definitely the same guy or buddies - although I don’t think he’s trolling because he puts serious effort into posting 9 straight posts. Maybe he just has the time

It reminds me of that one guy on mlssoccer.com from Atlanta, who has like 7 accounts - and manufacturers fake conversation in an attempt to create a pro-Atlanta narrative.
