SuperCanuck
Quoting from the article, one of the guys says "what I like about is there's so much they can improve". I don't think that's much of a sales pitch. "Come down to my new restaurant. You'll love it, there's so much I can improve". Still, it's interesting that people in the UK actually follow MLS. Dub Narcotic
Hmm, well, you can take that to also mean that MLS has a lot of obvious potential to grow in every area where many leagues are essentially fixed at their current level for demographic and economic reasons. Even look at the last two seasons how much has changed with the USL teams, players the level of dos Santos and Giovinco coming over and the cancer that was Chivas getting the boot to be replaced with the fantastic Orlando City and NYCFC clubs. Lots of fairly easy things can be done as well to improve even without big new revenue streams coming in: respecting international dates (looks like it's going to happen soon-ish), getting rid of national anthems (hopefully soon) and the constant drumbeat of better and better facilities all across the league.
