Hoilett starts for QPR at home to Preston North End, a new interim manager, Neil Warnock maybe has given him a clean slate, let's hope he doesn't get injured!

He ends up playing 75 minutes, had a very good match by all accounts, probably lacking some match fitness which will be a consideration next Friday!

Scotland

Aird is on the bench.

Carreiro not in squad

Gasparotto with the start. Went 90. Was man of the match

Ferguson not in squad

Henry and Gasparotto as a CB duo is going to be fantastic in a few years, hoping of course that Henry manages to stay healthy and get himself back in the mix.

It looks like Hainault didn't play in a massive 3-0 win because he had already joined Canada. That's what "Anfangsteam" means right?

If you need context see the link below

Overlooking the formation of 1. FC Magdeburg were revealed some changes , so started veteran Lars Fuchs in the starting lineup , he follows Steffen Puttkammer , who came into the team for the beginning of the flu sick André Hainault .

Elva played the first half of a 2-2 draw against a Ledgerwood less Energie Cottbus. He received a yellow and was taken out at the half with Stuttgart down 2-0.

REB did not get off the bench for Aalen.

The Aalen coach is one of those annoying managers who never uses all of his three subs, even when they are losing. Makes it even more likely that REB won't get any minutes...

Sam has started for Racing Ferrol who are 2-1 over Cacereño in the 1st half. His minutes have really gone up in the last few weeks.

Edit: seem he is playing defensive mid, has picked up a yellow cutting off a counter.

Edit: played the full game and they win 4-1, now  points clear of 2nd team. 11 games without a loss.

I am getting way ahead of myself, but if Ferrol win their 2B group, and they are on track to, even running away with it, their chances to promote into  2nd division will be very good, from what I am seeing of possible rivals....in 7 months time!!

If you think it must be harder for Nakajima to be left off of the roster , how hard must it be for Osorio who plays in a much better league to be left off and it would also have been interesting to see Osorio in the group also.

Yes, true, but that is not my reflection. I am saying he found a pro team to be able to be eligible, going all the way to Malaysia last spring. Played well. Even very well. And Floro rewarded him for this, by calling him in for some qualifiers. But in the end to no avail, he has lost his spot. It is simply based on perceived quality and the group dynamic.

Osorio's case is different, he does not seem to have been able to do anything to get back, since his play obviously deserves it. Unless he was supposed to somehow get in contact and did not. What I suspect, without knowing, is that he needed some mediation and did not seek it out. But just speculating. Maybe he got into Floro's dog house and Benito then locked the clinky mesh gate and threw away the key.

Yup it looks that way in Osorio's case, but at least Floro has had the good sense of including Tiebert who like Osorio did not get many minutes in the Gold Cup and who like Osorio are two promising Canadian players of the future, hopefully Osorio keeps improving and Floro will eventually come to his senses.

Hutch with another incredible outing. Check out this beautiful assist that won Besiktas the match in last minute of the match.

Besiktas is clear at the top of the league and clicking on all cylinders. Atiba playing a huge role in this and has played a full 90 in nearly every match.

So nice.  Not only is that a lovely soft touch, but the movement afterward, fading away from the ball slightly like he's expecting it back (and to be honest that was a legitimate option out to the right), freezes the defender just enough.  Without that movement, that defender's more likely to close down harder and block the shot.  Hoping to see more of that live on Friday!
