Wild Speculation On TSN #CanMNT Broadcast

Someone start pouring the glasses of Kook-aid, cuz that's what this thread is all about! So, TSN has bought the rights to the home leg vs. Honduras. Curious to see if it's announced mid-week that they'll be broadcasting the away leg in SLV. What does any of this mean? Is the fact TSN has suddenly stepped up to broadcast this game an indicator they've come on as the new TV partner for the CSA? Is it related to a new Canadian top flight? Was getting Jr. Hoilett in the squad a factor in TSN coming on board? Surely this must be an indicator of SOMETHING nearly unbelievable that is, in fact, true! What are Mont Pete and Mont Vic holding back from us??

The mens national team is sexy again. This is partly due to the women, they were first, then fifa 16 came out, that's when Hoilett and Aird joined us. Now with tsn doing MLS and it being a success this year with all three Canadian teams in the playoffs, the Honduras game fell at a perfect time in the year. Right in the middle of mls playoffs.

If Darren Dutchyshen and James Duthie are involved we've hit colossal status.

Unlikely that Dutch or Duthie know anything about football, let alone our national team.  Which is a shame because, really how can you be a sportscaster without knowing anything about the world's biggest sport?  I pity the fools who've gone a lifetime without football.

Fortunately for us and them it looks like they'll be forced to learn/watch the game/religion in the future.

Jason DeVos is going to use the platform to announce he's coming back to the men's team to show all the newbies how it's done.

And then he'll find a way to criticize Toronto and the state of Canadian soccer and when people ask him why doesn't he do something about it he'll say there's no point.

Pretty harsh.

He has suggestions all the time. He was also the TD for the biggest youth club in Canada and is close to finishing his UEFA Pro license.

Not to mention, de Vos was trying to change things from the inside but quit because of the politics. He was on the OSA Technical Advisory Council and helped make recommendations for OPDL's launch in 2014. When the OSA Board of Directors ignored some of the recommendations (specifically the recommendation that for-profit academies be included in OPDL), he resigned from that too.

Maybe the CSA is actually an entry-level model agency?

I think Stefan Cebara models. Not 100% sure but I think he does

Actually you are probably right. Issey has that exotic yet relatable thing going on.

He's also an artist so you know he's deep

I'm trying to think now who is the handsomest dude on the men's side. Osorio? He seems like he's a hit with the ladies.

according to this board he's a big hit with a lot of the guys too especially with one sports writer in particular.  I can feel the center of the universe imploding. Osorio > Ronaldo ;) lol
