LeanneMac
What do we think of the pride joining the league? Great to see the league expand! Kyle always seems to be the player shifted though. That's what.....4 clubs for her already?

tc-in-bc
[ 1 ] Because the Orlando Pride become the league's tenth team -- an even number -- the 2016 NWSL schedule will be a balanced one without bye-weeks for the clubs. [ 2 ] Though nine Canadians were unprotected, the Orlando Pride ( to be coached by Tom Sermanni ) chose no Canadians in the 2015 NWSL expansion draft. Blue and White Army
It reeks of Phil Rawlins.
shermanator
With MLS clubs launching NWSL clubs, it looks like the NWSL is going down the route of the WNBA, where the majority of ownership are NBA teams. I think is a good thing as it provides stability in ownership, which is something that has been lacking in the previous incarnations of women's soccer leagues. As for Kyle, I think it's awesome how heavily the Pride are promoting her. Looks like she might be the best example of an "NWSL journeywoman" so far though, so hopefully she can stay longer than 20 games with the Pride. On the other hand, it's better for Kyle to consistently have a team to play for rather than not have one to play for.
LeanneMac
That is true!!! Fc Unattached is still a huge thing for all our national players. Stability in ownership is also key!
