BrennanFan
I wouldn't be surprised if those callups were made to play to the home/local crowd. Or maybe this is the CSA saving $ and airfare. I like Adekugbe but there's no way I'd trust him over Morgan with qualification on the line. Let's hope deJong stays healthy. Froese and Lefevre are borderline but reasonable picks. If Aird starts, I'll be very nervous. Ouimette started at right back and did not look out place at all against Costa Rica this year. That is crucial experience at this level. Olympique_de_Marseille
I wouldn't be surprised if those callups were made to play to the home/local crowd. Could the roster change for the El Salvador Away game? Keep some of the local guys in Vancouver and fly Bernier down to San Salvador? Maybe Osorio too. Some of those guys just didn't look ready vs Olimpia.
Shway
Adekugbe and Morgan after Morgan's injury were a bit of a toss up so it makes sense to go with the local player, unlikely he'll get off the bench. Froese has looked decent and it's his home turf so it makes sense to bring him in as well, especially as he has played in a lot of positions for Vancouver in the last few months. Not going to play before Teibert though.....or atleast he shouldn't
Coramoor
Floro rates Straith, so he definitely plays before Sam. Ricketts ahead of Tesho is highly likely.....which I'm okay with. Floro rates Piette as high as anyone on the squad, I'd bet on Piette over Straith at CDM

Maybe Osorio too. Honestly I was probably one of the biggest advocates for Osorio to be included. But after looking at this squad, I'm okay with not having Osorio there.........and god no to Bernier. Keep his ass in Montreal with that other player that got left off.
David C.
Look for some of Aird, Froese, Adekugbe and Lefevre to be 88th minute subs, just to get them capped for good. Hoilett will probably start.

Leferve played decent in his debut, not many mistakes...so he's a little better than reasonable. 100% agree that Ouimette should start, and I would be surprised if he doesn't. Coramoor
Aird and Ade are the only ones worth cap tying. Froese is a pretty promising player and while Lefevre is probably always going to be a backup, he's definitely worth having as a member of the squad. I don't understand the lack of love for WL? I thought he's looked great all season and he actually seems to be improving.

Lord Bob
Wandrille did well in the Ghana game too, which was not an easy debut. I think he's earned a chance.

He's been great, great, when he's played for the Impact the last few months. I'd be happy to see him in the field.

While I agree with you that Tesho has better control and offensive awareness to start over Ricketts......the reality is that Floro seems to rate Ricketts over Tesho......but we could be in for a surprise. BuzzAndSting
I wouldn't be surprised if those callups were made to play to the home/local crowd. So this is 100% true. The Caps tweeted a nice little graphic with Sam, Russ and Kianz minutes after the roster was announced. I'm okay with it because I think Sam and Kianz have bright futures and being part of the team for these games will bring experience.
