As reported by BrennanFan and Vince, Andy Najar has not played for Honduras since the GC and missed the recent friendlies for them due to "personal reasons"

Roger Espinoza has been missing due to a broken bone in his foot since Aug. 6th. His recovery was estimated to be 10 weeks which took him through last week. He has yet to play, but is currently in full training with SKC. He likely won't play this Sunday and may not return before the international window.

Victor Bernardez suffered a pulled hamstring on Sept. 5th and missed 3 games before returning in early Oct. He missed last weeks match due to yellow card accumulation. Still someone to keep an eye on in case he aggravates the injury as he would be a key loss at CB.

Those are pretty classic by now. You can tell your kids later: We used to have to watch these games on crappy streams! Those were the days...

You kids have it easy these days.  I would've killed to have a crappy livestream back in my day.

IN MY DAY, you had to read a live blog in a foreign language with Babelfish open in another window.

Our ref for this game will be the Costa Rican Henry Bejarano.

He is relatively new but he was the one who was ref when the Impact lost the CCL final to América at the Stade Olympique.

I did not see that game; what did you guys think of him?

solid game from the ref IIRC, no complaints really.

Don't recall anything about the ref, so I guess he was ok.

We need to get the ball rolling on an official complaint here.  This is outrageous... for a ref to grant an interview and admit bias is completely unprofessional.

Whether he is removed or not is besides the point.  If we can make his comments widespread he will under fire to tread lightly in this match and we may even get some calls in our favour just so he doesn't show any bias.  A tactic we see used in the NHL playoffs many times.

Well he has not helped himself and should be more professional. At the end of the day he will be judged on the pitch and as a professional should be able to go out and do his job. The ref's favorite teams are common knowledge in the EPL but they do their job.

The biggest issue is the spotlight he has now put on him and the notion planted in Candians heads that every decision he makes will be biased, regardless of right, wrong or the truth. That can't be undone and will cause potential problems. He should know better.
