lazlo_80
if he gets fit and comes back to mls it would be very interestiing. he'd be coming back to a completely different league than the one he left.

He was good enough to impress at Blackburn and AC Horsens..albeit both were very short stints.

Bikerack
I'm sure he will land somewhere on a short term deal I'm expecting Scandinavia matty
Chad_Impact
I'de like to see him go to a secondary team in Portugal, like Boavista or Belenenses. If he had a good season or two he could easily move up to one of the big three there. matty

Maybe he could actually play a game in Cyprus Chad_Impact
WheatsheafSK
Europe vs. MLS, lower-Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark... If only the Voyageurs could act as his agent. Chad_Impact
lazlo_80
well definitely wishing him all the best. If he got into form and stayed healthy he could make it back into the CMNT picture quickly
Club Linesman
Based on the dire expectations of our central defenders going forward its almost a must that Doneil returns to health and begins playing again. He has the tools, if he can put it all together he could be the imposing CB that anchors the line for the next few years. Just don't play him at RB. Obinna
Wish it was Toronto as they could use the depth, but perhaps he wants a new challenge and Vancouver might give him more chance to play, as he'd be 3rd in the depth chart behind Waston and Parker. I don't know when or if Edgar will make a return, so this move for Henry may be exactly what him and the caps need. DannyFromToronto23

As many people on here have said before, he would fit TFC's 3 CB formation perfectly. Would be a great counterpoint on the right to Mavinga on the left. I assume this would mean that the Caps are not looking at resigning him then.

It is concerning from a CanMNT perspective that he wasn't resigned, because he wasn't on a lot of money to begin with. I suspect the recovery is not going as planned, sadly. toontownman
I thought Vancouver would be a likely destination. Would be happy as a Vancouver fan. Disappointed as a Henry fan. Hoping he would stay in Europe. Either way what he needs most is gametime. If he is fit he will get that at Vancouver imo. Think he would compliment what is there already and work with either waston or Parker. Obinna
saladroit
Signed with the Caps. https://www.whitecapsfc.com/post/2017/12/22/whitecaps-fc-acquire-canadian-international-centre-back-doneil-henry?hootPostID=7a639d430e6f3378edb2fed226619521 So the VWFC CBs are Waston, Parker, Henry, Maund, and Edgar. I'm assuming one of those five isn't coming back.
