Richie Ennin has signed with Spartaks Jūrmala in the Latvian 1st tier.  The club played in CLQ last season, but missed out on Europe for the 2019/20 season.  Richie last played in Serie D (Italy) this past autumn.

First, nice summer town with the very long beach!

Second, on the Spartaks Jurmala wiki page they have another player with a canadian flag: Gabriel Charpentier. I did a quick research and couldn't find anything about him....maybe someone will have more luck than me.

I saw that earlier, and I think it is a mistake.  Spartaks wrote that Gabriel is French and was previously in the Nantes youth system.

Apparently hometown is Frisco, Texas and he is an American National?

Well I could be wrong but CSA never lists where he was born, but both have same birth year. Photos I saw also looked similar.

The CSA lists his birthplace as Mexico City and his profile makes no mention of the US at all, but it's definitely him. I assume Dallas' media staff just default to Frisco and American if they can't be bothered to find an academy player's specific details.

EIF in Finland is keeping up with their tradition of hiring Canadian players. It looks like Chakib Hocine is still with them for the 2019 season, but so are midfielders Alexandre Fontaine and Dominic Grondin. I have no info on these players only that their names are French-looking (Grondin apparently hails from Ste-Julie).

EIF is also known as Ekenäs, the team where Boakai played last season.

"Gerges was the starting keeper for Metro Ford that season, but was forced to miss the nationals due to being called up for a Canadian U18 training camp in Guatemala."

Good news. Also, sounds like he's a '95, can anyone confirm?

Seems about right.

Article from last year mentions that he's going to be 23 later that year. 2019-24=1995.

This is a really good get, Egypt's Top tier is good quality. If he can get games, he should be called up to our NT, what's the club name?

Call up? Glad the guy got a contract but I don’t know if he’s even in our top ten GKs...

Should he play I said. Who even would you name in the top 10 current Canadian goalkeepers? It's hard to really examine that pool, the CPL will help put things in order

I know, even if he plays he’s definitely not close to a call up.

Borjan, Crepeau, Thomas, Leutwiler, Irving, Roberts, Carducci, Busti, Breza, Gomes... All guys I’d take ahead of him.

I’ve seen him play but he’s 23 and was an amateur until this contract.

If he plays in top flight Egypt, after 4 games he is ahead of half the players you name, maybe more.

I can't for the life of me figure out what team he is with, what sort of updates are these?

Nice kid. Was not the best keeper on his PDL team last year.
