Dominic Grondin is with Luzenac in the French 5th tier.

He was also called up to a Canadian U20 ID camp back in 2015.  Luzenac is an interesting story because the village has a population of only 650.  They won promotion to the 2nd tier in 2013/14, but the stadium was not up to 2nd tier standards.  The club had to release all first team players and dropped down to the 7th tier.

Abdallah Juma has finally arrived in the Czech Republic with FC Strani (4th tier).  His signing was announced last month, but he had some delays.  It is his first adult contract.

https://t.co/eMZvFapkQ3

- He was in Finland with Inter Tuku, and with FC Syrianska in Sweden. He also had trials with Levante in Spain and a French club. He said that they were all at the youth level

- It is his first 'adult' contract. He was born in a small village in Congo where he lived for 3 years. After he moved with his family to Tanzania. Four years later they were in Mozambique. Two years after that his family moved to Canada. So, he moved to Canada when he was around 9-10 years old. He went on to talk about his life in Africa and his future plans.

I'm not sure if this was already stated here but according to the USL website Gabriel Wiethaeuper-Balbinotti is signed by Ottawa on a loan deal. He's one of the three mentioned here: https://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/892627?referrer_id=3335786 (the other players being Michael Salazar and Thomas Meilleur-Giguère).

The articles says:

Balbinotti has been a standout for the Montreal Impact Academy U-18 program for the past three seasons, featuring in 44 games and accumulating 26 goals, and now enters the professional ranks by signing with Fury FC.

“I had a chance to see [Balbinotti] last year and am pleased to see him commit to our club,” said de Guzman. “He is a great addition to our group and will greatly benefit from Nikola’s expertise and experience in his development.”

Balbinotti isn't on loan, it's a permanent signing. Montreal are just retaining his MLS rights I assume.

Don't quite know where to put this but Ferdi Kadioglu has been chosen the greatest talent of the Jupiler League in the third period. I now he's a longshot but his side NEC Nijmegen is looking a strong contender for promotion and he is (still) a very long way from being selected by either the Turkish or the Dutch national teams. I think I would take try and invite him to a camp.

FYI: Born in Netherlands; Turkish dad, Canadian mom.

I suppose the question do the CSA even know about him? I'm still convinced they aren't even aware of guys like Andreas Vaikla.

Also you can make his own thread for more visibility!

I doubt that they don't know about him. People at the CSA check this board and if they think that a guy who can play for Canada has a chance. Now, did they know he existed before someone posted something here? That's a good question.

With how bad the Dutch have been recently they are trying to get younger. Being that he is only 18 he would likely be on their radar at this point.

He's a Dutch youth international.

Kadioglu has been known on this board for about 18 months since he scored on his Eredivisie debut with NEC as a 17 yr old.
