Actually he was playing for Nordhausen's 2nd team so he was playing in the 6th division. I doubt he would be signed as a first team player, he is only 19 so possibly Kielce thinks he has the talent to develop and would likely play on their second team at first.

"Sie haben lange in Kanada gespielt, absolvierten sogar 13 Partien für die Nationalmannschaft. Wie zufrieden sind Sie mit Ihrer Zeit bei „Les Rouges“?

Das war eine tolle Erfahrung. Ich hätte natürlich gerne mehr gespielt, ich war zu der Zeit auf meinem fußballerischen Höhepunkt. Aber ich habe dann einen deutschen Pass beantragt und war damit nicht mehr für die Nationalelf spielberechtigt. Schließlich bin ich ja nicht in Kanada geboren. Rückblickend fällt das wohl einfach unter die Kategorie „Dumm gelaufen“.

A German speaker can clarfiy, but certainly an interesting quote.
