canadianfoot
Hi guys anyone knows a good Futsal school in Richmond BC. Or lower mainland. I signed up my kids for "Brazilian Soccer Schools Richmond".....and I am NOT happy with it. Not enough Engagement from Coach/es(actually I doubt they have any credentials...some are HighSchool students). Looking for an alternative perhaps. http://braziliansoccerschools.ca/
tmcmurph
How old are your kids? If they are playing futsal then the whole idea is that the game is the teacher. Just let them play (safely) and max out the touches, receiving, passing, etc. At least for the U10 and down that should suffice. Above that level (U12 & up) coaching helps a lot. TRM
At that age as long as they learn to keep the ball inside the lines, and if they don't it's a turnover, then they are doing fine. The lines are key. If they just kick it off the walls and run they will learn nothing. If they are taught that if they loose control and the other team gets the ball they will learn control and quickly. Then they learn control and what to do when they run out of room. Have you read "The Talent Code"? Great book about learning and it gives an entire chapter to futsal.
