Osorio gets the start for TFC. Chapman on the bench. Morgan has missed the last few matches due to a groin injury. It's a shame he's picked up a few injuries this year, he's played well enough to be a regular starter IMO.

Be careful (sarcasm). People might feel offended because you posted information about TFC in The Canadians abroad thread. BTW, Osorio assisted Giovinco's second goal of the game. So far it's 2 - 0 for TFC.

Borjan left his game injured.... Hope its not too bad.

Edit:

According to some random Bulgarian football twitter account it is minor. This was the response to my question on how bad it was:

"Not very bad as he played in the second half. He wanted to be subbed in the first but then continued to play for 25 more mins."

Nathaniel Foster-Bowen is playing in New Zealand's Chatham Cup final as a striker for Eastern Suburbs.

ASB-Chatham-Cup-Final-line-ups.jpg

EDIT: Foster played the full 120 minutes but did not score in his club's 2-1 win. Here's the match report.

Eastern Suburbs have won a (regional) league and national cup double - the first time the club has done so since 1965, according to the match commentators.

Slovak 3rd div - Milovan Kapor play 90 minutes today for Podbrezova B as they drew Banik Kalinovo 0-0 at home.

Slovak 1st div - Cebara was subbed off in the 71st minute as Zlate Moravce lost 5-2 away to Podbrezova.

Too bad Kapor got dropped to the B team or we would have had 2 Canadian '91's playing each other.

Piette was on m. 64 as Racing Ferrol beat Sporting Gijon B team 0-2 away, as mentioned. 2nd goal shortly after he came on. They are tied for first after 5 games in their 2B division

Him being away for a long spell, with Olympics and Ghana, may cut into his playing time, as would be understandable. Not only league games but a very important Cup match vs. Villanovense on Oct 14, accessible though away. If they get past that then they are in the rounds where 1st division teams participate.

Wonder if Floro will have Piette come for Olympics, then stay on for Ghana, that is over 2 weeks away from the club.

-Ben Fisk started on the bench and not sure yet if he played, as Deportivo B beat Noia 0-4, none of the goal were Ben's in any case.

I have watched Chatham cup quite a few times, level is pretty low, but at least NZ have a national cup comp.

A friend/work mate of mine played for Miramar Rangers & Western Suburbs in Central league and Team Wellington in ASB premiership. On his "off days" he would occasional suit up for our rag tag div 10 team when we were short players it was a bit of a laugh.

Yeah but at the top team in Copenhagen that qualified for Europa every year he was there, and the Champions League one year as well.  A couple years they got out of the Europa group stage.  About the same level as Besiktas actually.  Actually by the time he left there they climbed to top 40 in Europe in ranking, the same year he was Danish player of the year.

I realize that it's not Real Madrid, but given that he was at Copenhagen then, and Besiktas now, I'm not sure I'd call him a late bloomer.  Was starting in top tier Sweden when he was 19.
