It sounded like it was for the WCQ campaign. It makes no sense to call Cavallini just for November and not for October.

(Unless there is a secret strategy that all coaches use: only call Cavallini for games vs Honduras)

It was for September that Cavallini was called. The tweet came about a week after the Canada-Belize match.

Yeah, I'm close to convincing myself to Drive.

Getting there.

If you go down, I could join you (& split gas with you & possibly do some driving) for the return journey to Toronto. That is unless anybody from Ottawa decides to go.

Otherwise I have to go DC -> NYC -> Mtl -> Ottawa by public transit for the return journey.

+ we need the Voyageurs banner!

Based on the tweet, it would actuay leave more questions than answers if Cavallini wasn't called. Again though, it is still very much speculation at this point.

Supposing he was called though, along with Lefvere and Arid, below are the 20 who i'd like to see for this one. In an attempt to curb my optimisim, i'll also make the assumption that Osorio is again passed on, as per John Molinaro comments...

D/M - Arid

With a name like that surely he's an attacker on the CMNT.

(Too easy to pass up)

Yes.  Assistant Coach Rafael Carbajal personally reached out and called Cavallini. They spoke and Cavallini was asked to join the team for the Belize games.  Obviously that didn't work out.  Who knows where that leaves things now.  This was reported in the Uruguayan press:

The roster will be released in 30 minutes

An interesting tweet from Kurt Larson below. That would lead me to believe that perhaps Occean or Oso will  be back

Could be another interesting recall to #canmnt roster today ahead of Ghana friendly. Stay tuned...

If it's between Oso and OO, I'd rather have Oso back in the mix ... but either would be good.  Could be Lucas, although it seems like that rumor has been debunked.
